Try this if the last command does not work $ sudo service NetworkManager restart .
The NetworkManager service has been named NetworkManager

It still works. Thats the Google DNS actually. In my ubuntu 22.04, wifi is connected but no internet access. Just changed the nameservers to Google public DNS as shown in video and the internet works. Voila

This worked like a charm.
The only problem is that whenever I turn my laptop back on, it goes back to the original and I have to do this every time I boot up my laptop, any fix?

Nope. I'm on mint and my computer just suddenly won't connect. It says I'm connected to the network I'm always connected to and zero internet. Every other service in the house is connected. I went out and bought a USB adapter and same exact thing.
