This character map is for only fonts you have installed on your own computer--not the Cricut ones in Design Space. Correct? Is there a way to see if Cricut's own fonts also have glyphs, etc.?

My font map does not have the swirly characters just the basic font letters I already can use in cricut

I have a project where I need the font to stay 1inch in size but 12inches long. How do I do that without the words looking stretched or distorted?

This is super helpful! I discovered while following along that you can select all the letters you want from the Character Map and then paste the whole word into your project space (you do need to have a textbox already open, though)! Saved a little time and work.

this doesn't work anymore since circuit updated bc I dont have the mini text box anymore just the actual text in the fancy font :(

What suggestions would you have to paste? I've downloaded, then copied the special characters I want but it comes up empty when I paste it into any microsoft application

This was SO helpful! Thanks for taking the time to explain. I was looking at how I could use the special fonts in Corel Draw and even though your video was using Cricut it also works in the same principle for CorelDraw.

Great walk through. Please may I make a suggestion. When repositioning the individual letters either use the left and right cursor keys or hold down shift while you drag the letters. This keeps their vertical position exactly what it should be for the embellishments to line up. Clearly there may be occasions when, artistically, you want to alter the vertical positioning.

Gosh- I was totally lost since most of the tutorials show how to make a cake topper, but none mention the character map. Thank you for a clear and concise tutorial.

The character map UWP on my pc looks different and does not have as many choices! I’m not sure why

Hello I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I copied the letter I want to replace from the character map UWP and the last letter I used keeps coming up and paste. How do I change that? I need help! I downloaded the character map so that's fine, but in CRICUT DESIGN SPACE at some point it changed and now my text doesn't look like yours above, it shows up as a grey box that says "text" in the chosen font, and when I double click it it just shows up with a box around it with a blinking cursor.

I purchased a package from mighty deals and installed a few fonts on my computer ( windows ) and tried to replace some of the fonts on the design space, it does not change the font instead it changes my font to whatever font is selected on its own font style box. Is there any guidance you could supply? Thank you.
