Hello, I just opened a TFSA account with BMO. I did not know that they have MER (management expense ratio) until when I came home and checked the agreement. The MER is 1.7%😢😢😢. Should I close the account?

if i make american dividends in my non registered account then move that dividends to my tfsa is that better than having that American dividend stock in my tfsa and taking that 15 percent withholding fee?

If you don't have a tfsa in wealthsimple but you have stocks in wealthsimple, can you then open a tfsa in wealthsimple and put those previously bought stocks into that tfsa or do you have to already have a tfsa opened with money in it and utilize that money in order to purchase stocks?

Hi sir,
Thank you so much for this video.
If you don't minde, I have a question pls
I am a beginner trader and I live in canada 🇨🇦 too,
My question is:
I would like to learn from you how can I reduce my TAXES in trading ? Is it through a TFSA account ? Do I have to fund my broker account from the same TFSA that I have to create in the future ?
Thank you sir. in advance .

I am a person that likes the ability to withdraw money when I need it. So if I have $10000. and I give $6000 for TFSA. What does this mean for?? My account will now be $4000. I don't do stocks etc. Where is my $6000. Will it be under an account that says TFSA?? and will I be able to withdraw from that TFSA???

Question brandon. Do i handle personally where i invest the money in tfsa? Or i will just open tfsa and just leave it and visit it after a year and see if it grew by itself, like coast capital message me about this, if i open it to them they will handle my account personally to invest it in different investment by professionals? Or i will do the investment like buying and selling of stocks by myself? Thanks.

Hii …I have seen almost all videos of you.thank you so much providing such an important information. Still i have a question if you can explain please;
1) My RRSP contibution also coulbe called after tax as it is deducted from my RBC chequin account . Because i pay tax on my every pay i get from my employer. Is that right?

2) Do I have to inform my CA about TFSA (as I inform RRSP) as well when he does my tax filing every year?

3) Can I use RRSP for business plan and what happens if RRSP is not used at all if someone die before 71 ?

Thank you.

Just to confirm. The only part that's actually tax free are the earnings on the money you contribute. Not the contribution itself?

Thanks for the video. If one puts US 10k into a TFSA account, invests it in an american stock, and it grows to US 20K. If then one sells the stock, and transfers the US 20k cash into a non-registered account. Will that person not pay taxes on the capital gain that was moved out of the TFSA? And will one have US 10k room left in their TFSA or US 20K room left? thanks

Great video. I have a question. So if $10k grows to $100k and then total amount are withdrawn then next year one will get new limit (total withdrawals with capital gains + new year limit). What if I do not want to withdraw the amount? How does it effect the TFSA room then??

Thank you Brandon I’m trying to get started with investing and I know absolutely nothing about it. I appreciate the clarity of this video I will definitely look into your channel
