This stuff dose not work , I did everything they asked plus even vacuumed each board , didn’t even last 6 months , the remaining 4 unopened 5 gallon pails I bought went straight to the dump , Home Depot would not refund or send back , this stuff is a total scam product .

I used this on a new deck I build and its been 4 yrs and still looks new. I believe the longevity is all in the prep work. Being my lumber was new maybe the reason its lasting so well. I would suggest pressure washing and sealing an old deck before coating with this product.

Doesn't last long on concrete. We have experienced a lot of bubbling and cracking. Not impressed

I am very disappointed in this product. It has not even been 2 years and this is what my deck looks like. We painted over 1k sq. ft. Our deck is ruined. This is supposed to be the stuff that lasts 10 yrs. I have filed a complaint with Rustoleum... lets see if they stand by their guarantee and fix my deck. In the mean time, I do not recommend this product at all. Very Disappointing!!

If you are not going to "test" the durability with a normal force, just leave the durability test out. Scraping that lightly tells me that it is not durable, because you don't trust to scrape harder.

How can I remove it from my deck. Will paint stripper work?

This made our deck looked beautiful, followed instructions to the "T."  However, everytime it rains, it looks like it is soaking up the water (seems porous).  It lasted about 4 months before it started cracking and coming off.  My advice, clean the deck as it advises, but also prime it with something like KILZ, first.  Apply at least 6 months before winter, keep it covered for two months, and don't walk on it for two months, then it might last a few seasons longer, but this stuff is so hard and brittle it just cracks and crumbles whenever any impact hits it, sometimes including a hard shoe while it's raining.  It's basically just thick latex paint with sand mixed into it. It's funny how much more durable it seems when it is dry and not wet.  I just don't think it is for exposed decks.
