AAPI Wellness Wednesday | Chinese Tai Chi Session | Ba Duan Jin

In honor of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the Mayor’s Office of International Affairs, Welcoming Atlanta, and The Confucius Institute at Georgia State University invite you to learn the basic movements of traditional Chinese Tai Chi, a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.

In this video, four Beijing Language and Culture University graduates and visiting scholars perform traditional Chinese Tai Chi - Jessica Yang, Diana Zhang, Anna Wang, and Sherry Han.

The Confucius Institute at Georgia State University is committed to promoting Chinese language and culture in the United States, especially in Georgia and the Southeast U.S. As the first business-oriented Confucius Institute in the U.S., the Confucius Institute at Georgia State University seeks to maximize Atlanta’s strategic location as the center of business activities in the Southeast and provide comprehensive services in Chinese language and culture to the business community and general public of metro Atlanta and Georgia.”
