How to FIX MICROPHONE NOT DETECTED on Windows 11 PC

Got a Shure MV7, connected through USB. Worked perfectly on my old PC in Win10, on the new machine and Win11 the system just doesn't detect the device. Tried all the steps in your video but nothing solved it. Got any other ideas how to solve this?

When I plugged in my headset, it used to show an option in the bottom right corner. That window would allow me to set what kind of device it is, like I could change it to headphones or headset ect. Now that window isnt showing up and I think it's set to headphones right now. Is there a way to manually pop up that window or to change it from headphones to headset?

Yeah well, the problem is that my mic is NOT DETECTED so my PC doesnt see it, all of these methods work only if your PC sees the mic - detects it. My mic works on every device but my PC. I also have issue that when i accidentaly disconect my headset and connect it back my PC needs restart to detect them again. Windows is just retarded or i dont know

this didnt work, i dont see anything that says my microphone, i dont see jack shit, i checked everywhere possible and still i dont see anything at all
device manager, nothing. checking for when my microphone is allowed, nothing, i dont fucking see anything that says anything about my god damn mic please someone fix this

I have a headset microphone (with jack plug and headset adapter) that is not plugged in or when I'm talking to a friend, they hear me best when I talk into my headset with sound coming out. It's not the microphone that's broken as I've checked it on other devices. This is on my pc windows 11, does anyone know a solution because I've been searching for a month and nothing helps. thx ❤

Windows 11 keeps ignoring my speakers...it's such a pain as it keeps defaulting to the puny laptop speakers and won't let me set external speakers as default.

This Literally never FUCKING WORKED if your Mic isn't being Detected it's cause it won't show up ANYWHERE so all of your fixes don't actually do shit

My headset microphone wont work on my pc, but will on my phone. But it gets audio to the headset. I checked on everything the microphone just won't show up, I tried 2 different headset microphones that work on my phone, and I don't think it is a problem with the jack because like I said I get audio to the headset.

I went to All Sound Devices and it doesnt pop up. Its that crappy Mic that comes with one the Onn Headsets and you have to Plug the Microphone in.
