Many fund managers have so many insider contacts that when Covid was about to hit, they got the tip and they sold stock (and did short the market) along with the members of Congress (the privileged legally allowed to do insider trading sine they write the laws). Outsider had no time to even breath when it came down on them.

Mathematician investor Ed Thorp not only realized how serious Covid was, he estimated how many people would die using the Spanish flu as a basis to make his estimate. He had lost his father to the Spanish flu.

I'm sure those aren't Unreserved people, the ones who are getting into IIT/NIT through his foundation.The threshold for reserved category students to get into these institutes is pretty low.
