BIDEN MERICA IS REAL.
ОтветитьWonder what the suicide rate is there ?
ОтветитьWatching this video while overlooking the empty, sandy beaches of the southern Oregon coast, i can think of no better place i'd rather be than sitting in front of a slot machine at a rundown 7-11 in Vegas. Alrighty then.
ОтветитьIt should be illegal to raise a child in that $atanic hole.
ОтветитьAs for me and my wife, we’ve always enjoyed visiting Vegas.
ОтветитьThis dude has a gigantic mellon !
ОтветитьDangit! I was in Vegas a month ago. I didn't know much about the place because it was my first time. But I was staying right off the strip and you mean to tell me all that good stuff was right next to it? Sun of a 😤 I feel like I really missed out 😡
ОтветитьSlots at 711 is crazzzy
ОтветитьMakes me want to visit the states so bad
ОтветитьGreat videos documentary about the places never visited ❤ thanks Men ❤
ОтветитьBest Closing Part: is the arrest at the end. Right place at the right time.
Ответитьbiloxi is similar...the strip is vibrant and across the street looks dire.
ОтветитьNo mention of Batistas Hole In the Wall when you were right our front?
ОтветитьAre those roads made of asphalt, in Vegas?????
ОтветитьI lived there for 2 years. It was the hardest place I have ever lived.
Finding work that can support a comfortable living is near impossible.
The culture is so cut-throat and distrusting. It's the only place I ever lived I couldn't trust many of my co-workers or neighbors.
The commercial center where they started the video is wild. Between the green door and 2 gay bathhouses, you would think no locals would go there. It's also where the original lotus of Siam and several clubs meet up, so locals also love it.
Unless your some rich connected Mormon, an adult worker, a business owner or wealthy professional, I honestly think you'll struggle.
You incredible journalist and I’m hooked
ОтветитьSexy guy
ОтветитьGood video. Lived there from '96 - '06. There's good and bad everywhere. Your choice.
ОтветитьVegas..Turd with glitter on it.💩🚽
ОтветитьI'm baffled that people will separate substance abuse and mental health issues. Substance abuse is a serious mental health issue no different in severity than schizophrenia, bipolar, dissociative personality and gender disorder... they're all mental issues.
ОтветитьPhoenix is so much like vegas just without as much gambling
ОтветитьParadise, nv
ОтветитьThat was super nice giving the money he wom back
ОтветитьI was in vegas twenty five years ago and it was a working class vacation nice affordable place to vacation , not so anymore i was there in july of 2022 it was disgusting they used to keep the sleazy areas hidden now you can not walk down the strip without homeless filthy people everywhere that's all you see there's more of them than anyone else i tried to look away cause it was so overwhelming and i looked over at a baby stroller and the look on the baby's face even that baby knew it's not normal ! Why anyone would bring a baby to that place seriously questions there parenting !
ОтветитьCrazy that just a few months ago the Linc was flooded and all those living in the tunnel lost their belongings… this video made a few months before the hurricane hit Vegas!
ОтветитьI really enjoy the content @Peter_Santenello makes.
ОтветитьI lived and worked in Las Vegas for 27 years. At that time, table games personnel were not allowed to unionize or they were blacklisted and couldn't get a job. You worked for tips (and still do). I worked for $2.86/hour plus tips as a table games dealer in my early days. I got that much because I dealt several games. Between Thanksgiving and Super Bowl/Chinese New Year it was not uncommon to work 12 hours shifts 7 days/week with maybe 1 day off in a month. There was no such thing as overtime pay. Your payroll taxes for your tips came out of your hourly pay. I'll never forget one paycheck I received was 75 cents. Food was cheap, drinks were free (but you always tipped). The shows were wonderful and affordable. Nowadays the shows are outrageously expensive and food is ridiculously priced. You used to have a probationary period of 3 or 6 months before you'd be a full-time employee. Now you are part time for 5 years or more before you can hope for a full time job. For my last 10 years we got a "cost of living" bonus rather than a raise and we were basically told us old-timers made too much money. They wanted the new hires to be at 40% of what we made and top out at 65% of what we made. The casino I retired from shrank the department to make our jobs obsolete in order to hire part time people for less money. I don't regret the years I spent there, but I wouldn't recommend it to people now. It's not so glamorous anymore since the "bean counters" (accountants) took over from the previous group that ran it. This is a very well done video. It is quite encompassing. The area between Circus Circus and the Landmark was the dividing line between rival gangs Crips and Bloods. Quite a number of us went to Binions for late night steak & eggs for $1.99. We went dancing off the Strip on Wednesdays to Cookie and The Crumbs. There is regular life there: grocery stores, churches, schools, movie theaters, etc. While there isn't income tax, property taxes were not cheap. Of course, time changes everything and when I retired, I left there as have most of the people I know. It was a job we loved to hate. It looks easy, but there is so much the general public doesn't understand and will never see.
ОтветитьOMG I DIDN'T KNOW THIS COLLABORATION EXISTED!!!!!!!!! BADASS!
ОтветитьI call Vegas - land of extremes, not just contrasts
ОтветитьThe county could stop people from living in the tunnels if they wanted to,.. All they would have to do is get everyone out and then plug the openings with a few feet of concrete.
Ответитьright here, best info on Vegas I've seen, and i've watched several on it. Peter's channel, I've watched before, great stuff. And this teaming up with Jacob, it's all you need to watch , if you want a real glimpse into life in Vegas. Great job. Surely going to delve into Jacob's channel a bit deeper. ;)
ОтветитьTwo of my favorites in a video together, Just Amazing ❤
ОтветитьI lived in Summerlin from 1999 to 2004. I enjoyed my time there, overall very similar to my current lifestyle in Phoenix Arizona.
ОтветитьHe needed to take you to the clown motel
ОтветитьWhy can’t the new houses have grass? That’s seems like a rather weird restriction
Ответить116. 118 degrees in the summer sux
Ответитьdude thats actually sick its like reverse oblivion elder scrolls
when you lose everything time to wander in the tunnels and find a civilization
I hate vegas
ОтветитьBro ordered a quesadilla and was surprised it’s cheesy 😂
ОтветитьThe homeless live in tunnels under Vegas until the city floods
ОтветитьBeen here since 2008 when i retired from the military...also from California. I have been downtown maybe 7 times. It's a death trap.
ОтветитьIn my dictionary, Vegas is the definition of hell. 😂
ОтветитьThey don't lock the gates to keep this problem out of the tourists eye's. If they wanted those gates locked they would be.
ОтветитьCost of living is actually pretty cheap just off the strip, new construction is way cheaper than NY or CA
ОтветитьAnother little known fact about Vegas - Because it barely rains there and still has tons of cars on the road, when it DOES rain, the streets get very very slippery. All the oil and fluids that leak just build up constantly without being washed away, and they all form a sludge on the road that leaves little room for traction
ОтветитьI remember staying at the Stardust back in the early 90's and we were stuck in some cinder block building out back from the hotel. They looked just like those you said were just painted. I had actually forgotten that until I got a flashback from your video. De Ja Vu.
ОтветитьThe first problem is Vegas wasn't made to be this populated. And the real Vegas doesn't exist anymore.
ОтветитьAMERICA IS COLLAPSING AND HAS NO FUTURE!
ОтветитьMany times i stayed in las vegas during conventions and seminars... place is only good at night....
