I played this and the Milfanito/Shrine of Amana ost so consistently for the past 2 years as I've went to bed. The only games I played outside of the souls series were MH and FFXIV throughout those two years. Boy lemme tell you the epic tier weeb dreams I have been having thanks to this are incredible, the nerd inside of me is creaming the corn bros, lmfao and I didn't even have to take melatonin. Now on command I can have these episodic cringe but cool video game dreams...

On a personal note, I had this in rotation after my brother passed. It simultaneously depressed me, but also eked out all my tears so nothing stayed bottled.
I’m happier now than I was then, so in a roundabout way, thanks. Sometimes you need to ride a wave of depression to reach a shore of joy.

And the blood, oh the blood Verelyn spilled that day. She had tasted it on the air. Both the sheaves that fell from the skies and the spurts that gushed from the corpses, the coppery, simmering scent of cooked blood from those who burned alive as Strorhelm crippled into rubble.

When the player leaves anor londor after killing gwyndolin i imagine this image, all of gwyndolins knights preparing he's funeral, and then no god stays in anor londo, the city of the gods is now abandoned, the sunlight doesn't exist anymore, just the ruin of the greatest kingdom of lordran...

The rain is the tears of humanity, eternality cursed by a twisted, manipulative lord. The undead sheep who rekindle the flame making it grow ever worse...

I'm actually feeling strange. Dark souls were the games that made me feel the most emotions neither good nor bad. Thank you miyazaki for this you've saved my life many time and thank you to every single chosen undead outta here. (Try to play dark souls 2 if you havent give it a try i promise this game is actually wonderful.) Bearer of the curse i will Always be at your side, until all hope as fully withered. May the flame guide thee fellow undead <3

In the game we are constantly warned that "Don't go hollow", it is a way of telling us not to stop trying until we overcome it and move on. outside the game we will always have thousands of problems that seem impossible to solve, hence the game tells us that.
