Top 5 Tips to Beat Your Poker Home Game

It’s interesting, when I first started playing home games I was doing really well. As the more I studied solvers/GTO, making the correct folds preflop, raising, 3 betting I would get called by almost any hand and in most cases now just get beat. It seems like i’ve become far too predictable to play against.

Imagine studying with a solver for a home game 🤣🤣

Reads on players will get you very far, even if you don't know a very good strategy yet.

I have never understood these players sitting and checking the phone, eating, drinking or talking a lot of nonsense instead of being observant of how others play and behave in specific situations.

Strangely enough, very many are only interested when they themselves are in the pot and miss lots of useful information.
