My favorite version of this film, which is why I watch it again and again,, and why I don't rewatch the others. Excellent entertainment.

Those are the kind of movies who just have it humor action romantic everything yesterday i saw the new Dartagnan movie it has good fighting good Actors and its okay but still the old movies have much temperfull actors and humor as the new once as a kid i watched Erol Flyn movies or Prince Vailant and they still touch me more like the new once movies like the man in the Iron Mask wher funny too but the newerthey get the more the glamoure and adventure effect vanishs the newer they get the more they consentrate on fast action but the romantik and humor are totaly gone Pitrates of the Carribean was one of the last sword fighting adventure movies who had that humor in it a pitty they dont watch old movies like this one to see what Musik and humor can make out of that movies. After i saw this the first time i fell in love with medieval time.

This movie is a masterpiece. An amazing cast, well filmed fights, great sets and a great story. They don't make films like this anymore. I would love to see a movie where a group of Musketeers would meet a band of high sea pirates.

(In my opinion) this is the best Hollywood version of the story, but my all time favourite is the French adaptation under the title ”Les Trois Mousquetaires” made in 1961 with Gerard Barray and Miléne Demongeot.

I just watched the 2011 version if it and was appalled, so now i'll watch this one to get all the drama, humour and good acting the story deserves. Seriously, why do people think they need to do remakes of a perfectly splendid movie?

It ends in smiles and bro attitudes while the poor Constance lies in her grave... morality : never fall for a musketeer lol :D

Yes , this “ Les Trois Mousquetaires “ is the GREATEST cinematographic version OF ALL TIME ! I first watched it when I a little kid ; and I still love to watch it now n then. The later ones didn’t even deserve to carry the title The 3 Musketeers. I wandered whether Alexandre DUMAS was a novelist or a HISTORIAN because it appeared that he rewrote some hidden parts of the History of France .A DUMAS also made me believe that King LOUIS XIV did have a twin brother who was condemned to spend his entire life behind The IRON MASK .

Simply fantastic. But Constance, the maid should have known the character of her ‘prisoner’ better!
