Went way into debt over an injury that couldnt be fixed with superglue. I'm lidocaine resistant and had to go through the stitches without any pain meds anyway.
Decided fk it, I'm teaching myself how to do sutures myself. I can already get antibiotics without a doctor. Not paying hundreds of dollars to get basic stitches ever again.
Worst case scenario, I die and it ain't my problem anymore.

ОтветитьIn 2006 I had a motorcycle accident and tore my left knee to the bone. Doctor at ER couldn't tie knots as nine of the 18 came untied!
ОтветитьMy dentist stitched me up like an amish quilt after taking out my wisdom teeth
Ответитьcan i use this on my own skin
ОтветитьStand with Ukraine 🇺🇦
Ответитьthank you for doing this! I appreciate it
ОтветитьThis could be practiced doing taxidermy. If doctors were only so practical. Taxidermy on the side to be an expert at suturing.
ОтветитьHi for me in your channel I love so much surgery 🦋😇🙌❤
ОтветитьYou talk too mutch.... No need for all this explanation.
ОтветитьThat looks like it must hurt..
ОтветитьThank you so much dr. Parker ❤❤I love you you saved my life
ОтветитьYou should check out the needle driver that periodontists like to use, it's super convenient, small and you can hold it like a pencil so the dexterity is supreme, you can just click it to open and close
ОтветитьI appreciate this kind of information because people may someday find themselves in situations where knowledge and modern services arent available (catastrophic or maybe not even that serious) can help save a life. A doctor/nurse/medical pro isnt always nearby. Never hurts to learn something in a "someone might need that" scenario. So thank you for putting this kind of info out there!!
ОтветитьFirst black to the thumbnail I thought jimmy Lannister became a doctor 😂
ОтветитьThank you for sharing
ОтветитьI thought surgeons just had their nurses do it.
Ответитьguys I'm kind of worried I'm at the hospital right now and waiting for him to sew me up but I seen him watching this video on his computer so I looked it up and now I'm concerned
ОтветитьNice sir your explanation is totally outstanding
ОтветитьBasic embroidery stitch...
ОтветитьHere because I tried to suture myself after a hatchet accident , with a home sewing kit. 😆. It didn't go well.
Ответить👆Is this what u we’re talking about?
ОтветитьThankyou sir ♥️♥️♥️♥️🥰🥰🥰🥰
ОтветитьNow some use staplers.
ОтветитьAbout to stitch my SH wounds 😎
ОтветитьI'm still a little hazy on the knotting, but I've gotten handy with the mechanics of holding the instruments and the dexterity required. I'll have a look at your other vids and see what else I can learn. Great job!
ОтветитьHow do I get surgical suturing materials I want to buy
Ответить❤
ОтветитьStrange that I watched this as a 26 year old software engineer with zero intention of ever getting into medicine lmao
Ответитьgonna try this at the sleepover hehe
ОтветитьI am a highschool student and... I don't know what I am doing here...
ОтветитьI don’t think he’s looking into the camera lens. Nice vid though.
ОтветитьI went over the handlebars on my bike and opened my chin to the bone. My wife absolutely refused to stitch it up so I did it myself. Was very surprised at how much force it took to penetrate with the needle. It required six stitches and I was able to close it up very nicely, thank you very much.
ОтветитьNice
Ответитьthe things i would do to u.
ОтветитьImagine talking shit about the COVID pandemic and losing your job to just starting mining bitcoin. Go fuck yourself.
ОтветитьWhy i like this work????
ОтветитьHoly crap. Best suture video I've seen. Very well explained!! I wish I found it 3 months ago!
ОтветитьOmggggg the hottest doctor daddy that ever existed
ОтветитьMorram
ОтветитьJamie Lannister does surgery ?!
ОтветитьCan you show the best stitch to expect for being given a direct eye brow lift 😢 (needs must ; )
ОтветитьExcellent, I come from wilderness medicine background, where evac by air is almost always the answer until it isn't and you have more than a week before getting to professional medical care. So I appreciate the clear and concise instruction.
ОтветитьIf you know how to sew you can stich a wound for humans unless it’s crazy open you can just use butterfly bandaids an super glue if not witch I have stitched every thing from humans cows to goats and dogs use the same method as sewing cloths but do your knots every pass and use a lot of iodine and clean or tell them to clean it everyday
ОтветитьBro , you look like jamie Lannister from GOT 😂
ОтветитьYou used to be able to get all that stuff free at the doctor’s office while we was filling out paperwork.
ОтветитьFinally an answer to soaring medical costs!
ОтветитьInstead of doing my Botany, chemistry, physics homework I'm watching how suturing 😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьGreat video! I have just never been able to grasp/understand how to suture (even in the OR). Your explanations and camera angles actually, not exaggerating, allowed me to see it finally. I wish I could explain how big of a breakthrough this is, but I guess it wouldn’t have happened if I understood where the disconnect is/was for me in the first place!
ОтветитьSO TRUE! I WILL NEVER FORGET MY FIRST TIME SUTURING AN ACTUAL PATIENT… I was left to do the final layer subcuticular closing actual ex-lap by myself the first day on rotation. My chief resident told me to finish before the patient woke up—I still don’t know if he was joking or not… but I DIDN’T FINISH FAST ENOUGH! I barely remember what was going on around me, it was one of the worst moments of third year... THE SECOND I REALIZED THE PATIENT WASN’T UNDER ANYMORE — AND I WAS NOWHERE NEAR FINISHED — well, it sucked.
I realized what kind of people/surgeons/staff I was dealing with and lost literally all hope of actually helping, learning, and doing no harm. I did my best to warn classmates assigned to that attending. Medical school is designed to protect wicked behavior and hazing by attendings/residents and keep students isolated, fearful, & silent.
