I liked Thailand while I was only in Bangkok it was very nice and the people generally friendly. I never felt unsafe. Sadly reports are things are changing. The passport policies continue to change. Prices have risen as well. Yet, I'm headed there soon.

I agree, the people are the reason I keep coming back. My first visit to Thailand was for a very short 3-day visit. I was stunned by the friendliness of the people, the polite interactions, the genuine affection for me as a tourist. The doorman at my hotel recognized me every time I entered. He treated me like I was royalty, he always asked if he could help, if I need a car, if I needed directions and always asked how my explorations were when I returned to the hotel. The same could be said about the waiter at breakfast, he remembered I wanted coffee and asked if I wanted the same omelette for breakfast -- and this wasn't during the slow season! Yes, it is all about the wonderful people.

Thai here and I agree, but not 100%. I would not leave stuffs unattended unless you unintentionally leave it. There are some people from neighboring countries who came to steal from tourists. There are videos about this too! In term of safety, please be very careful always look both ways when crossing the roads. Oh, I do miss Thailand badly 😢😢😢

I'm from Bangladesh & I can safely say Thailand is like my second home. I love their food, culture & people. It's not all 100% perfect but it's decent & safe enough to have a funtastic vacation! My only regret is I never met Arsen yet on Thailand. I hope I get a chance to see him on my next visit. Keep up the great work!
