You didn’t mention if you had temporary or permanent residency, or if you are working on it still. I am currently in Florida, but soon to be heading back to Merida where I have my residente permanente. Yes, it gets very hot in Merida, but there are a lot of places to go and cool off. The evenings are cooler and it’s always a pleasure to stroll to one of the many parks where there are vendors,music, dancing, etc. winter months are of course cooler and a much enjoyed reprieve from the heat of April, May, and June.

You are so right about the people of Mexico. They are so kind and helpful, always wanting to please. Learning to live on Mexico time made me a more patient person. It does no good to get upset, and they don’t understand when you do, so it’s best to just smile and chill. “No problema”. 😀

Huatulco is among the best places to live or just to vacation to… friendly people, clean and safe, Im in love with huatulco, we visit the place twice a year and now planning to get us a place down there❤️❤️❤️

It is easy right now. Until somebody gets really sick. Then you do not want to be in mexico. Nobody there to take care of you. As you get 75 to 85 It's a bad place to be in mexico. But hey it's your life but you do not state the downfalls of living there. Everything is rosy when it is cheap so you overlook a lot of things

The food in U.S is killing us literally! It’s not safe here anymore! They pump so much in our food and even the “healthy9 food is not healthy!

Texas is hot also. Proximity to beach breezes is mandatory for some of us!

There’s some nice places there, but I would never live there too dangerous

More power to ya! Retired in California we probably spend $1500 a week. But we live a good life stress free. Our children are all in California along with extended family. But most importantly our church life which plays the largest part of our lives is close by. That part of our lives is the best part!
