am wondering if these builds are ok for a 2 pce or would I/we be better off waiting for a full 4 pce..

I came back from a 2 year break on wow retail and just got 70 on my warlock.
Never played warlock before so I thought I give it a try. Just to confirm:
I play Destruction and I can't even get rolling before the trash groups are dead already. I feel like the build up to spam RF is sooo long.
It's almost so that I can't even get my spells out in general before everythings dead already. Is it just me or is it actually like this.
Probably going back to melee classes.

I haven’t played in a while and I was excited at first to learn they removed madness but then I forgot madness added faster casting times so it’s going to feel a bit worse I think. I loved being able to rapid fire chain bolts which now they will be slower

How bad is Destruction actually? Seeing a lot of negativity and I'm sad because I just hit max on my Warlock with the intention of playing Destruction

This feels boring compared to 10.1

Why is going Grimoire of Sacrifice not the choice over going through Soulburn? You would choose extending Immolate which would also have a chance of proccing another dimensional rift and then Grim of Sacrifice.

Unpopular opinion......... I HATE Grand Warlock's Design. I hate that it's basically being forced.... I can see the value of it.... I just don't think it's FUN. I dont like it. Especially when they are putting it in a choice with something that IS fun. I feel like DEMONology SHOULD just be faster with demons in general. Why is the casting time of Affliction's demon and Destro's demon shorter than the spec that is SPECIALIZED in summoning demons. It makes NO SENSE!!!!! Blizzard... FIX IT!!!!!!! Just give us Grand Warlock's design baseline and quit jerkin us around.

I don't have fucking tier sets because I can't muster up the fucks to giv for this game enough to gear up to that stage, you'd think a class would be playable without having to be close to best in slot for every item of gear but no, somehow the experience for an actual casual player is exactly the same as it was in Shadowlands???? Wtf is this.

I kinda wonder if they intentionally sabotage destro to keep the spotlight on the rework of demo...

Destro not doing much Destruction in 10.2..a minor scratch at most. So sad Warlocks have been turned to shit (not fun).

What should i do with shadowburn? Leave it on my bar for if i need movement GCDs?

Testing M+ on the ptr, destro does pretty poor damage

think we have to go conflag/chaosbolts chains. the current non conflag CB is horrendous. I miss madness it certainly added a skill check on players weaving in cb/incinerates/immolates/etc.

DR vs CI with the tier being D.Rift clearly shows the tier set is pretty lackluster. Especially in spread cleave or just general M+. This has to be by far the worst designed tier set.

What a bullshit. That needs changes. For now it does not pays off to give t-set to a destro warlock first - again! And AoE is totally crappy. 10.2 is really shitty, i give really nothing for blizzcon if thats how destro warlock is suffering.

This might be turbo faded but what happens if you just swap b2a and chaos incarnates position

guys please keep complaining on forums about shit the dps is on destro and cataclysm. A lot of demonology warlocks did that and got their damage fixed

I don't understand why they can't have Chaos incarnate and a buffed Power Overwhelming share the capstone while moving Rift up.

It's baffling that we're legit not going to have tier in some circumstances in 10.2...

with the tier set procing off of immolate damage wouldnt tak9ing cataclysm over inferno be better since it could help speed up the ramp of destro in aoe?

If you play rhe dumpster fire that is destro in 10.2 you either love the spec to death or you need help.

i cant figure out where they are going with this set-up.. feels like they are mishmashing the spec without any actual builds in mind.. i think this is evident when there are builds that outplay the actual tier set! all lock specs are locked behind stupid interactions.. aff has a shard gen problem which makes the spec feel incredibly non responsive at times when you got a dmg window and using deifferent pet utility mid fight makes its super clunky cause of sac being our choice for more dmg ... demo cant use any pet utility either cause we have a main pet that does most of our dmg and its kick also stuns which makes it incredibly unreliable to use when gathering packs cause you stun the caster mob and it stays a mile away from the pack and those are just some surface issues, warlock is outdated and useless in general compared to other specs .. you got healthstones and gate for the grp which are replaceable by off-healing effects or big grp defensive cds, speed boosts etc that other classes have ! if you also do negative dmg compared to the rest.. good luck pugging anything if you are not op max geared lol

wish you and your community cared more about design and not just numbers, all 3 locks are so unfun and becoming more boring and boring every patch but its fine if they do good numbers? jesus

still have hope that blizz at least buff destro after week one when raid is open

maybe each charge of dimmensional rift should put immolate on 3 targets that do not already have it applied, should be very interesting !
