Well yeah I grew up on the streets of Chicago so of course I remember the Blackhawks song it was like Here come the Hawks the mighty Blackhawks take the attack yeah you know they’re Blackhawks…something like that

The kid is a child superstar still a baby with a hockey IQ of about 162

It will be interesting to see if he is successful in the NHL. Watching a video of a bunch of shots that "went in" isn't helping me decide. I don't feel like any of his shots were goals that couldn't have been made from 90% of the better players.. in other words, I didn't see shots/goals/plays that made me think "nobody else could have done that". Connor McDavid made me feel that way.

Has such an interesting release. More of a snap shot than wrist shot but it’s lethal.

At 16 this kid could have easily played in the NHL!

This kid can really shoot ! In some ways he reminds me of a smaller Lemieux .

This guy's one of the most accurate shooters I've ever seen.

Hmmm...there was that really cool one between his legs but the rest were all the same and nothing really spectacular....basic wrist shots...a little boring....

He has some nice moves, particularly the one where he passes the puck to himself thru his legs and shoots with the blade of his stick behind his right leg. However, he's going to find out the goalies are a lot better in the nhl. He has a lot of pressure once he gets to the nhl.

I wish I could go bank in time and give Bobby Orr and Mario Lemieux some graphite sticks with massive flexing ability.

I'm a Rangers fan and I remember when they won the Lafraniere sweepstakes. I watched videos of Laf over and over after the draft and I'm sorry I just could not see the greatness. With the guy..Oh my God! he'll probably be the best player in the game in two or three years.

At the NHL level, 80% plus of those outside shots won't go.
