The thing with most sceptics is, they don't want it to work or be true. They mostly just seek confirmation on how random or phishy they think it is. In TOTAL truth Tarot reading is 95% accurate in determining and knowing your past, 90% in showing the present, and at MOST 50% in the showing the future. Need I tell you tarot cards show the PATH your SUPPOSED to be on, not the PATH YOU ARE ON!!! It literally depends on what your doing within your life. Tarot isn’t a joke it can be real too, but the fortune telling is probably the only thing that’s unrealistic. They can get your whole past right and your WHOLE future wrong. And it’s simply because your path and what your doing. And not only does it show the path your supposed to be on, it also shows the path your being guided too. But even if your guided on a certain path, it doesn’t mean your going to reach nor if your going to even continue it.

There must be some intersection between what Mentalists do and this. Mentalists have very impressive techniques that are super convincing.

Red flag 30 seconds in "the origin of tarot cards is unknown"... Actually - the history of tarot is very well known and easily googleable. Tarot is associated with Italy because of the popular card game called torrochini. What they don't mention is that the practice of reading fortune through divination and symbolism in the cards was brought to Italy by travelers or "gypsies" from Egypt before the 1400's. Most Italians just used it as a card game like you would use a regular card deck at the time but it was really meant to explore the archetypes of human nature.

I work in a highly analytical space but started reading cards out of curiosity. Intuition like any skill gets better with time. The more you use it the better it gets. I also started meditating and that helped also. But there is something called free will and future isn’t set in stone. Tarot helps you guide your free will to make optimal decision for yourself given existing data points.
