Bob Wells is pitiful, he talks people into selling out and the next night, these naive poor people wake up and ask themselves "WTF have I done" after the novelty of the first night is over. He also got his start by suing the hand that was feeding him. everyone loves virtual entity and his edited personality, but the people that have been around him personally for a whole day, hates his guts! I love your videos & all the different cultures & places you visit. And I think you missed the mark on this video.
Ive been to Quartzside a couple winters in a row. Not that I know everything about Quartzside! And Id like to give my perspective on it. There is a lot of BLM land there & theres lots of different types of people & who they travel with or without & what they travel in. I think the main guys you talked with were quite biased. Also there is BLM land in Ehrenburg, Parker, Lk Havasu City, & Yuma. All with in an hr or less. Also Blythe, CA.
The perspective on Bob Wells was very negative. He is an amazing man & has done wonders for the nomadic community. He has a utube channel, Cheap RV Living. And a non profit, HOWA (Home on wheels alliance). HOWA is wonderful organization that has helped many people in the nomadic community that couldn't afford to fix or buy a vehicle or buy things for living on the rd. An interview with him would be an excellent choice for you. He is a very kind, caring, & giving hunan being. He & HOWA put on the RTR in Quartzside in January. It is a huge gathering of the nomadic community. There is a womans RTR & the regular RTR for everyone.

I was wondering where this place is. So in the description it says Quartzite. Ok cool. I know where that is. I was intrigued when one of the gentlemen said some people in the short live there year round. I would like to know how they do that. I get staying there winter, spring and fall but, staying there in the summer; how is that done. I don’t see how they have an air conditioning, which in my opinion is a life necessity not just a luxury if living in the Az desert in the summer months.
But mostly my hat is off to them, they are making it and feeling the freedom many would love to have. Maybe not slab city freedom, but that lifestyle is not for everyone.

I like Peter's lifestyle. He gets to drive across the USA and see new places. I did that a couple of times when I was in the U.S. Army. I drove my car across the southern states and also several western states. I loved going to national parks. I wish I could do that again, but I'm broke and stuck in a dead end job.

You have fallen for the Northern / Liberal propaganda. It has NOTHING to do with "racisms" it has EVERYTHING to do with a Southern, Free man lifestyle.
And just to prove it , when the Union won the Civil war, Lincoln DID NOT free the slaves.... that did not happen until 7 months AFTER HIS DEATH... and then only the States who opposed the Union had their slaves freed to spite them. Slavery still lingered for years after that in some Union states. Look it up. Sorry if you didn't know that, or if your feelings won't allow you to believe that... but it's a hard truth for you then.
The Northern , Liberal , 15-minute-Cities want to bury this lifestyle , which is why they are always slandered and branded as racists, inbred, stupid, etc.

He has been on the riad for over 15yrs and has started a non-profit to help people who can not afford to live on Social Security , etc. Other reasons as well. You need money to live, even in the desert, even when it’s free. I wonder what income these people have. I am betting mostly SSI or just SS or just retirement, but some of these guys are way to young to retire. Also would like to know where they go when the summer heat sets in. Back up north? Where up north?
