Lots of shoes have a lump that winds up under your metatarsal heads en releve. I found that Leather Block Split Soles were less lumpy. Just suggested that to a student that had pain. She didn't dance for a while because of a vacation. That all seemed to work out.

ОтветитьIs there anything that explains the abcd width of shoes? I don't want to just buy and return every shoe

ОтветитьSuper helpful. Thanks so much.
ОтветитьYou Are So Pretty
ОтветитьShould I get my exact shoe size or like a half size bigger?
ОтветитьHello. Thank you for this very informative video.
What brands do you recommend l, regarding “built-in arch support” in the slippers?
Thank you🌻
Maybe ultra-specific question but would you know where to find good baroque ballet shoes ?
ОтветитьWhat kind of ballet slippers do you recommend for teachers

ОтветитьI’m a former Irish Dancer working on ballet after a 12 year dance hiatus due to chronic knee injuries and plantar fasciitis. I love MDMs for flare up days and for barre (the slight extra resistance is helping get my foot strength back faster). I’m notoriously hard on shoes, so it’s always fun trying to find something that will hold up, support the old injuries, and give the feel on the floor I prefer. After 17 years of dance, I thought my joints had rage quit, but finding that brand really helped me start to get that part of my identity back. Can’t recommend them enough to people who don’t want their joint pain to stop them from enjoying dance!
ОтветитьWhats odd for me is that my block arise are a 5.5C (leather, split, fit i guess 90% ok, but the heel just feels low and it had one elastic across) but THEN my bloch FLEX are a whole size bigger, canvas but it feels so small! the criss cross elastic just digs into me and its just so hard to find a good fit.
Should i just change the elastic in my bloch arise to realy hold the heel up so i dont worry about it slipping off? (sorry for the rant..)
I just Brought bloch leather shoes, I'm gutted I think they are too small.
ОтветитьI love the red slippers
ОтветитьMe opening the package of my first pair... is this the left or the right shoe? 😅 thank you
ОтветитьSeriously, bless you and this channel.
ОтветитьDo you have any recommendations for a full sole ballet slipper with metatarsal padding?
ОтветитьSo informative and useful! I have a pair of Nikolai's that are too small, 7.5, unused. Currently using Capezio Juliet.
ОтветитьI just bought stretch canvas slippers as my first pair. Will try padded canvas next time, my flat feet need more support. But since I‘ve been dancing five times a week for two months in socks now, I think the stretch ones will do a good job. At least they help me feel like a real dancer now 😊😉🥳…. I also bought warm up booties, because I usually have 15 minutes between two classes for stretching and the floors are getting really cold now….
ОтветитьI feel like jazz shoes could be a fun option for practicing jumps at home. Also I just love how they look haha.
ОтветитьFantastic! Concise, informative and perennate information. Exactly what I needed. Thank You!
ОтветитьThis is an awesome summary! Thank you!
ОтветитьBroche, thank you for offering your help for adults to learn ballet. I value your channel.
ОтветитьDo you know of any good stretch canvas shoes that don't come with the elastics pre-sewn? Whenever they're pre-sewn, they're painfully tight for me, and I have to pick off the seam and re-sew them, which is so much more work than if they just came unattached.
ОтветитьI’m finding I prefer the styles that have elastic under the arch. Currently wearing Eurotard Coupe
ОтветитьAdult Ballet Dance Festival!
