Nest thermostat is the worst thing ever. Doest do what I want it to do

Google best is an absolute shit story. Purchased a gen 3 and have had nothing but problems. First battery went dead, even though box says no c wire required. The after paying for c wire installation worked ok. Then after update code n72 appeared. This is a soft Ware issue these assholes will not fix. I've paid two very reputable companies to check my system nothing wrong. Still waiting for Google nest to fix this problem. I see another lawsuit in their future. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH GOOGLE OR GOOLE NEST. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE . BUY HONEYWELL OR ANYTHING ELSE NOT NEST.

PS If i could put them in a sack, smash them with a hammer and send them back to google, I would. But I can't afford new thermostats, so have to keep them off WiFi and use them like we're in the stone ages!

Just my honest opinion, having 2 NEST Thermostats in my house, is they have a mind of their own. I had to factory reset, take them off my home network/wifi and use them as dumb devices, manually setting my temperature.

The battery on this one always run low. How can I maximize it?

have today spoken to 11 agents either on phone or chat over 5 hours.
I have been told there is no way to complain,
I am typing this out of sheer desperation because there is no way to raise a complaint

The irony is this situation all came about because of some incorrect advice from Google support.
And yet still I get zero assistance.

Do not buy especially through the Google store. Mine didn't work and they had me try several replacements. When none of them worked they told me I was outside of the return window and couldn't get a refund even though I reported the issue right away. It sounds like it is a common issue where the thermostat will not stay charges and keeps shutting off. Woke up to a freezing house multiple times when we had it. Their support did not care at all

I bought a Nest Thermostat and found out none of the Nest Thermostats are compatible with my Trane HVAC system. Make sure it's compatible before you buy, people.

Before you buy one of these go the Facebook page and read about the horrible goggle customer service and all of the issues people have with the Nest thermostats and the WiFi. I have spent days dealing with Goggle customer service, they keep telling me my thermostat is broken and they will send a replacement and they’ll send an email link to get that done and then they don’t. I have wasted, literally, hours trying to get this $200+ paperweight replaced. At this point I would love to just get my money back.
