The only sane people in this world are those promoting a world without labels and a world where thoughts are not crimes. Which leaves about 1 % of us.
ОтветитьHe was an insufferable stuck up cerebral narcissist. Just as religion has its dogmatic extremists who hate, Hitch represented those with an arrogant closed mind on the atheist spectrum who also hate.
ОтветитьMiss you Hitch!
ОтветитьIf only Kissinger had died when Hitchens did, and Christopher was the one still with us today...
ОтветитьHis knowledge always impresses me !.. when an interviewer or fellow panellist discusses a little known religion or religious person, Christoher Hitchens is always able to provide a comprehensive and in-depth reply.. quite amazing!
ОтветитьToo bad he never had a cooking show "Hitchens in your Kitchens"
ОтветитьNever heard Mr Hitchens say man that joint was great would love to have heard listen to him while stooned all the time brilliant man
ОтветитьYeah dude you didn’t have 18 months left never mind 28 more years. I hope smoking those nasty cigarettes was worth it you knucklehead.
ОтветитьCrazy to think when ye says "maybe its too early to write my memoir, but you can't wait until it's too late" that he would sadly die only 2 years later 😢
ОтветитьI like Hitchens, but he was completely wrong about Iraq. Nation building and attempting to establish republics in the Middle East is a fools errand.
ОтветитьI was drafted 4 days after i was sworn in as a citizen.
ОтветитьI enjoy a lot in listening Cristopher Hitchens speech
ОтветитьHe was truly a guy you hated to love or loved to hate. Quite a free thinker and unapologetic in his opinions. Didn't agree with his atheism or his limited view on understanding God. But most agnostics (which atheists are in real life) equate religion with faith - which it is not. Outside of that debate, I kind of admired his conservative-liberal dichotomy. He was practical in many ways, and didn't suffer the ideological constraints of most intellectuals, who are bound to untenable theories and political association. That's not to say he wasn't ideological - he definitely was, but he seemed to be the type to adapt to given circumstances. He definitely didn't play political favorites, and was just as critical of one party as another.
Some of his interviews seem dated but there is still a sense of genuine conviction, and like he said, he tried never to pander to the crowd or cause controversy for its own sake.
If McCain was too old and exhausted to be voted for as president I can only imagine the roast he would have cooked up for Biden lol
ОтветитьShelter in majority, love that.
ОтветитьHe looked great for 60, like he was mid 40a
ОтветитьWhat a brilliant man
ОтветитьHe seems to be a man at ease if not peace with who he is/was.
Ответить-Marc Thiessen dont get a point by saying if you dont try the torture on you than its effective . Its a very childish way of thinking . Torture is like lasagna its effectiv with many layers of psychological and physical damages .Torutrue is not necessarly hurting someone directly .
