The only reason they are illegal is because if they were legal. Then Elites wouldn't be able to rig sports, modeling, and actors. All of these people go on gear during their developmental years. Especially basketball players.

Well ABUSING steroids, surely cant be defended, its like saying you took 100kg on your chest the first day in the gym and it almost killed you, well you dumb. There is a possibility that prolonged, monitored and balanced use of this substances could be rather safe, probably much more than moderate smoking, but it would definitely require proffessional studies made and presented, with full protocols and expanations on why is that. Here its just a statement of because, maybe hes right but that would require much more in depth explanation and evaluation through multiple experts preferably.

Ive been bodybuilding 24 years and the harshest compounds we use are when we are about 5-6 weeks out from a competition which typically our blood work comes back pretty normal after we reduce to a trt dose after this and in off season we tend to use less drugs in order to grow as a calorie surplus will really be what makes us grow along with the drugs. If we continue to do cardio during our off season and dont get to out of shape our BP can stay pretty good and everything else stays fairly safe

This is so true. The modern medical community would rather see an otherwise healthy young guy with the testosterone level of an 85-year-old man because it’s “in range” and fear that it will cause cancer which has been debunked in the Urology community for over the last 15 years. In fact, one of the greatest causes of mortality for men across all areas is actually low testosterone. If you need it, testosterone replacement therapy can be life-changing. The addition the low-dose anabolic agents can help reverse old age muscle wasting, help With joint disease and greatly increase quality of life and people who are sick, old, and weak. It just needs to be managed. There are clinics that specialize in this, but most doctors would not even have a conversation with you about hormone replacement, because their knowledge was based on 50 year old incorrect data.

The dudes I went to HS with that continued to use and abuse steroids into adulthood were both dead by 51. One blew his brains out during COVID as he had caught it for a third time and developed psychotic paranoia, his immune system in shambles due to anti rejection meds he had been taking for years due to a kidney transplant (which had obviously been necessary because of his steroid use). The other one had a massive heart attack (despite being a jacked non-smoker and seemingly in perfect health) and died in the OR a few days later.

The ROIDER'S plan book:

1. HIDE the STEROID use. Don't ever bring up STEROIDS. LIE & DENY their use when asked. If that doesn't work, go to plan 2.

2. DOWNPLAY STEROIDS. Tell people STEROIDS doesn't do anything. If that doesn't work, go to plan 3.

3. COMPARE STEROIDS to other UNHEALTHY things like ALCOHOL, CIGARETTES, ETC... "Try" and JUSTIFY using STEROIDS. If that doesn't work, go to plan 4.

4. Call them names & CURSE at them.

Even if you admit to using STEROIDS, you still have FAKE muscles and FAKE strength!

Stay natural buddy!

Steroids are great the only side affects are: lower life expectancy, backne, small penis, roids rage, increased appetite – which may lead to weight gain if you find it difficult to control what you eat, thin skin that bruises easily, delayed wound healing, sleep issues, headache, dizziness, bulging eyes, heartburn, increased sweating, and thats not even all.

Leave it to the government to screw over the people.
Every case I've heard of or read about where people tried to point their fingers at steroids, where in cases where the doses of steroids were 5 to 10 times too high. Still! No correlation could be assured. The abuser was also abusing other substances which much more likely caused his/her demise. This man seems to have been more objective in his analysis.

Primobolan was used on babies safely according to literature, oxandrolone is given to burn victims, even one of the most powerful anabolic steroid called Anadrol 50 is given to patients, often elderly, is given in higher dosages and lengths of time than even athletes and bodybuilders use, although it is considered harsh on the liver. It helps aids and cancer patients, and no doubt if abused they are dangerous. So in the end if they are used, and not abused, after gaining knowledge on how to use them, they are indeed not dangerous. Some are more harsh, others very harsh, but most are not much harsher than regular medications that even geriatric patients use.

I started on testosterone at 58 years old. I thought my life was over. I thought that I had worked my life away raising a family and that my time would never come. I was wrong. In Nov. I travel to Alexandria, VA to compete in a national level amateur bodybuilding competition. If I win the over 60 category, I earn a pro card. I will become a professional bodybuilder in my 60s. I'm having the time of my life. I may be able to parley this into a second career. Turns out that my demographic is the most lucrative when it comes to supplements, training, coaching, etc.

If your healthy why bother with drugs. Great results can be achieved without them. Gains come easy on roids it can be addicting. The pump is better the weights get heavier. You come off this stuff you will regret the day you ever touched it. Stay natural and stay free. Roids are a trap like any other drug dont let any you tubers or videos like this downplay the risks.

I’m guessing most people who watch this video aren’t going to like my comment because most of the comments below seem to be pro steroid, and made by people who obviously came to watch the video because they are biased and excited to hear good things about steroids. Anyway, here goes, this is guy seems like he is largely full of shit and most likely backed in some way by big pharma who obviously wants to sell a massive amount of steroids for “anti-aging”. You don’t need to take steroids to age more healthily. Go read 80/10/10 by Doug Graham and that will put you on the right track. Always look to nature for the truth about health. Look at how the bonobos live and eat. We have almost exactly the same digestive system and share over 99% of the exact same DNA.

Sure steroids "can" sometimes be beneficial as a treatment, but in reality that's a very specific situation and absolutely requires the supervision of a doctor. If either of those two things aren't true, then steroids can quickly venture into life destroying territory. They're incredibly powerful and should NEVER be spoken about lightly. Even slight errors in administration can lead to runed lives or death. This is an undeniable fact.

As for the blanket statement "Everything you've been told about steroids is wrong", that's an incredibly nebulous thing to say, and shamefully underplays how dangerous steroids can be. It also ignores that different steroids or combinations of steroids can have massively different risk profiles, and that people can react in very different and unpredictable ways.

Honestly, I question the motives of Steven Kotler, given the language he chose to use here. Would not at all be surprised if he has sold out in some way, since steroids sold as an anti-aging solution could be a huge money maker, even if people get hurt. It's a tale as old as time.

I tried a natural version of steroids (or something) called LA Muscle - I was extremely weak and could not walk or stand (from sitting) and everything hurt REALY bad, I also had extremely tight muscles. Long haul I think. But so I suddenly realized that the pain was around all muscles (kind of logic but it took a while to think about it) but so then I searched for steroids for sport and found the natural variant. I bought and used and within a week I COULD BIKE again. Eve

What's normal testo level in one country could be too low in another cause the normal range varies. I'm told I can't get TRT cause my level is within normal range, although it's low. In another country I would be too low and receive TRT. Also, if the testo level is low but within normal range, why not optimize it? If your at 20% why not try to be 100%? If your batteries are down 80% you charge it. I know the natural testo production goes down when taking synthetic testo, but it's not important cause the main point is to feel well. So why not just do TRT for life, when your in your mid ages you feel crappy with low testo.
