Nissan Ariya EFORCE the best of the lot because although it doesnt win any category, it is near the top in most. Looks - better than Ioniq or Kia, Comfort - better than Tesla, Drive - as good as all the others, Range - could be better but if you drive about 20-30 min to work and around town with a home charger you are set.

Let me tell you. ThosebEVs have style and most have 4 wheel drive motors! You get a lot of quality for the $60,000! That it can cost you. Oh, don't forget that personal home super charger (to charge the battery), will cost from $5000 to $15,000!!! Now, there is a sad but cheap EV, it's the Chevy Bolt! The poor thing only has front wheel drive. It runs only on common 110 or 220 chargers! It so sad a vehicle. Oh, one more point here. The Bolt beat the crap out of all the EVs here, including the Tesla! It did this on a snowy, mountain endurance run!

Cannot believe picked the ionic over the EV6

You had all the models available, for a broad comparison between a wide variety of EV’s. But no. Half of the available models were just there for the shot. That’s just stupid.

This makes no sense. Why choose the Hyundai over the Kia or the Polestar over the Volvo then complain about the Polestar?

But do these companies not all buy most of the batteries and other essential parts for EVs from the same manufacturers? Because EV companies don't design their own electric batteries etc. So apart from the shell and interior being different, what makes any of these cars stand out from their competitors when they are buying off the shelf electric parts? Surely petrol heads bought cars from a specific brand, because they had all developed their engines differently, had different horse power, different power settings, different sounds, they has unique engine features, they looked different etc, etc. You may as well have a milk float for all the difference these "luxury" cars will be from each other at the base level. It's business suicide for any company that falls in line with this agenda. Not to mention there's not enough precious metals on the planet to sustain this. Strip mining whole areas, cutting down large areas of trees to put wind farms up and large, rare birds of prey dying due to wind turbines compared to a bore whole in the ground, taking up very little space. I know in reality which has the least impact on the environment. But EVs aren't charged using purely wind and solar power are they, so not really green.

The best one isn't even shown. Volvo c40 is practical but much better looking (the reason the xc40 was removed). It seemed like a magician forcing a card. Xc40 and polestar. Remove the practical one because it doesn't look as good, then remove the good looking one because it isn't practical. Same goes for Kia vs Hyundai, and in fact all the way down. Actually quite poor. I expected better. At least the result was worth waiting for..........

Ioniq 5 is just an ugly car, 1980’s back to the future styling that to me looks like grey cheap plastic. Yuk. Mustang is great, Tesla is top of the tech…..but remember, in cold weather all will lose 1/3rd battery range 😂

Well that one aged pretty quick! Tesla Y is now in the lower price range among these. Also, at least in Denmark the Audi is about the same price as the Enyaq. And choosing Ioniq 5 over EV6 at a whim is not really to be taken seriously.

This is quite possibly the WORST car review ever on Top Gear. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

I chose the BMW iX3 for the exact opposite reason that you mentioned - it doesn't look like a crazy spaceship from Startrek - it looks like an ordinary car, and handles like a BMW. Absolutely fantastic interior, high-end materials and does not disappoint. I would choose the BMW iX3 over the Tesla Model Y anyday!
