NEW TANK HERO MAUGA (Absolutely OP) YEATLE MAUGA GAMEPLAY OVERWATCH 2 BlizzCon 2023

This hero is stupid. He can literally run up to bastion turret form close range and out dmg him.

Don't really think he's that strong mainly because he's a hero that's incredibly easy to punish.

He's not OP at all. He'll excel at brawling but thats about it. He's weak at long range, super vulnerable to CC and needs resources to live, maybe too many. He many need a few SMALL buffs, but is insanely fun.

I think they need to get rid of the unstoppable while running. I get the idea for it but if a rein shoulder charge can be stopped, so should be. I bouldered one with sigma like 5 times charging before i realized they did it on purpose. Also, he does WAY too much damage to be a tank. I don't agree with tanks being good at dps because that's not their role. Would prefer an AoE that puts up barriers around enemies instead of being able to out support supports lol

I like how stupidly op devs make heroes ,like mauga destroys every single tank with no chance to even DMG him,its stupidly broken

Actually I have been countering her with Orisa. You spin the spear against his wall when he Ults and spear him During charge

As a hog main since the beginning of overwatch release i might finally drop hog to main him😭ive been playin with this character all day

I think the slam after charge would be more practical if it was in 1st person. The transition from 3rd to 1st makes capitalising on the knockdown look a bit weird.

Since supports function like DPS anyway, it wouldnt be that different from regular role queue. But youd be able to give Mauga so much heals, and a bunch of ultimates that give him insane damage output (nano, amp matrix, kitsune rush, damage boost)

his kit isn't hard to understand, medium range use the burn minigun to ignite, regular to hit crits. up close using both will ignite and do crit damage simultaneously. knowing when and where to charge seems to be the most important thing to learn.

I really wish people would stop titling stuff as OP. I won't be surprised if the devs nerf him, he so far feels pretty good to play as.

The funniest thing Yeatle is doing is saying its hard to put people on fire from mid range when he is using the wrong gun to do so

I think this tank is bad for the game. Definitely not having as much fun as a DPS. All revolves around tank with a Kiri and Ana.

honestly i think his charge needs some sort of DR, same with reins, with the amount of damage in the game from dps, tank and support, charge into the enemy abilities are horrible even if its immune to cc, doesnt matter if you dont get slept if you're already dead on the floor.

Feeding for real. Learn the hero. Primary fire and secondary fire have completely different uses.

To anyone seeing this, only shooting one of his guns has a way smaller weapon spread than shooting both so at longer range shoot primary to set them on fire then swap to secondary which does criticals on burning targets

Ana looks like a good counter to him. Reaper and Hog too
