ОтветитьWhere would you have the wheel? Straight in front of you?
ОтветитьThe picture of the AC Propulsion tzero on Wikipedia makes it look like it's a picture form the animation movie Cars.
ОтветитьMan I loved that seat height
ОтветитьHey! We still have our 2006 XB and it runs beautifully. It's fast off the line. It's comfortable. I can throw 2x4s in it with the doors closed. I can carry 4x8 sheet materials on it's roof rack, thanks to it's boxiness. And it's still incredibly reliable and has low cost maintenance.
ОтветитьThat gear shifter is a repurposed motorcycle turn signal switch 😂
ОтветитьElectric hamsters
ОтветитьYeah I think Scion's strategy of designing cars for young people is very obviously bad. What young people are buying new????
ОтветитьHonestly that cruise control is way more viable in an electric car. In a gas vehicle it would be controlling the throttle which is affected deeply by load and not safe.
If that just requesting an rpm from the speed controller, then it's probably reasonably linked to final speed. Idk about self canceling if you tap brakes
My one else thought of Technology Connections when the break lights were mentioned?
ОтветитьI love the adhd edits. They’re great
Ответить"Inspired the roadster"? Tesla licensed a lot of AC Propulsion's designs to build he roadster. This was all pre-Elon days that history likes to forget about.

Anyway, cool piece of history there Tom. Shitty car, cool video.
wow this thing is amazing, as a Toyota bB owner, and enjoyer and a technical user I love it
ОтветитьAlso from 2008, check out the AFS Trinity Saturn Vue, front v-6 with electric motor drive in back and ultra-capacitors for batteries. I rode in it and it was quick. Ultra-caps made cool sound during regen.
