Used to be a big hater on the screen. I still don’t think its the most visually appealing, but the technology and features you get with it is amazing. I’ve experienced it in an X5 and it’s actually really cool.
Ответить“farm to table” is the litmus test I use for all my cars too.
Ответить"Jarred my prostate loose" hahaha single handedly made my day. Going to say that from now on
ОтветитьMissing a pedal.
ОтветитьTo me, sports cars are small two seaters, like the Miata, S 2000, MGBs. They were never designed to do everything; just to have fun.
ОтветитьHot take: I’d rather buy a used low-mileage 2020 Alpina B7.
ОтветитьWe just need an “autobahn” here in the States and/or Canada so we can “ unleash the beast “ !!!
ОтветитьI bought two E92 M3's new back in the day. You were NOT getting a new one for under 60k. I bought a base model, flat dash E92 with cloth manual seats new in 2013 and it was $63,725. Friends who bought them with DCT and EDC were paying over $70k with some creature comforts.
ОтветитьIn 1999 the base M3 started at $40,000. Adjusted for inflation that's $76,000 in today's money. A base model 2024 BMW M3 starts at............. $76,000.
ОтветитьWhere is your 'organic feeling' discussions during your fake reviews of hybrid vehicles?...the industry moving away from gas cars that used to be more minimalist and have a soul? Hybrid vehicles feel about as organic as a vacuum cleaner droning on ad nauseum.
PS. and Jack's drivel about an engineer being a candidate to afford a $100K car and raise a family? He is living in dream land. As a long time automotive engineer, most engineers drive modest cars. Sure a few are enthusiasts and own more modest performance cars that are more affordable they can work on at home but 'nobody' buys a new M3. We see these cars for what they are, a huge money grab and profit windfall for automakers, especially out of warranty as parts fail. BMW created the playbook of market one-upmanship to draw suckers in and overengineer their cars for planned obsolescence and part failure out of warranty for a single purpose, profit.
good god it's fugly
ОтветитьThis is a threat to automakers: physical controls or else. I will never buy a car that requires me to make a driver input on a touchscreen while in motion. Ever.
ОтветитьI absolutely love my G80 M3. It’s got a 6-speed manual, plenty of power, RWD, comfortable, luxurious, agile and fast, very, very fast.
The G80 will go down as one of, if not the best saloon cars ever built. Its engine is bulletproof, its performance is next level, its good looking (up for debate), and it’s not a hybrid/EV
This vid has old school vibe where Mark bashes expensive cars that feel like nothing
ОтветитьCan’t afford this, so I want the next best thing: FL5 Type R.
Ответить$5k sim rig means DD wheel, and that has better steering feedback than most real cars 🤓
ОтветитьDj Blyatman 😂
ОтветитьM340i review please !
ОтветитьYES! Thank you! Less power, more connection! But, not enough want that, I guess. Not that this M3 isn't a great car, it is. It is just some other greatness than was the E30, E36, and E46 M3s.
ОтветитьHoly nostrils on a car
ОтветитьWhat a machine. The Germans do it right.
ОтветитьI had a great time tracking mine. I was able to place it where I wanted and had enough feedback. Was it a Miata? No. But it is absolutely a precise chassis.
ОтветитьWhat does it better if you need more versatility is the X3M
ОтветитьAt what point do you consider something like a mid-trim Porsche Panamera? Especially if you aren't tracking it. That's how expensive this machine is now.
ОтветитьIt is kinda sad ...
ОтветитьDislike the grille all you want, but when it's on a stoplight next to you, the only thing you're going to see when it turns green is the rear. Tuned right this car will keep up with a Plaid.
Ответить"What else is there that does what the M3 does" well for starters, Audi and Merc's corresponding models. Sure there are some tradeoffs, but the same applies to this car, it doesn't do everything the best.
ОтветитьI had to turn off that fake sound. Took me buying Bimmercode and a Bluetooth OBD reader. And that terrible sound is gone....which means the engine doesn't make noise. The "OFF" isn't off until it's programmed out.
ОтветитьI love my Mazda3
ОтветитьJerry Seinfeld said it best when talking about hobbies vs cars. In summary, basically a hobby is filled with annoyings tasks, you need gear, need to pack, you need to set aside time & drive to a place to do the thing, then head back home, unpack, etc. etc. A car is just there, you probably need to go somewhere anyways, might as well make it a fun trip. I agree 100%.
Ответить2024 touring in Finland 174K€
Vrumvrum
I rather drive an E46M3 ;)
ОтветитьOn a one car idea it's a good choice for myself, I drive a decent amount as a commuter but don't make 911 money yet. My build is the M3 Comp rwd a couple of mandatory options its 88k with everything you need and some goodies.
ОтветитьI don't care - a car this ugly can not be loved even by its father. Thanks but no thanks.
ОтветитьIdk if I'm just being picky but the 24fps is a little rough on some parts when you're speaking
ОтветитьJack is 100% on point with the 1-car approach. This is how I use my M2. Kids fit in the back, nice to drive on work trips, can pack it up and wring it out on track days, and put some snow tires on it for the winter. I'll consider getting a G80 someday for this same purpose!
ОтветитьNo sun roof is a problem
ОтветитьYikes! Why are those kidney beans on the grill soooo huge?
ОтветитьWhen will BMW ever put another transmission in the rear for the streets?
ОтветитьToo expensive
ОтветитьBMW is the most overrated vehicle manufacturer on the market. Completely overpriced and don’t handle as good as they should for the price.
ОтветитьE9X M3. S65 for life!!!!
ОтветитьI just bought a 2024 G80 M3. Break-in service is coming up. Simply put, this car is incredible. The internet hates the grilles, but when I asked everyone, it's generally accepted and people do like it. I have people come up to me all the time to ask about it. The carbon bucket sets are so nice to sit in and really makes the car. I can go on and on, but I am commenting because this video and what Jack said hits the nail on the head. Not sure I need two cars with the G80 being an all-rounder which goes god-mode when it wants to.
I kept my 2017 Honda Accord because I thought daily driving an M3 would be tedious and challenging. Absolutely not. In fact, in comfort mode will all settings on efficient, this car can drive very comfy(like an Accord) even with the carbon buckets. I get groceries all the time with no trouble, as the trunk is huge. I am now even wondering why to keep my accord at all. I don't really need it unless I wanted to keep the mileage low on the G80, that's it.
Great video SG!
Fastest boring car?
ОтветитьHaha, I couldn't even afford a base 3 series. WTF happened to affordable luxury small cars?
ОтветитьBroken record, the e92 mark couldn’t feel nothing, what was he expecting? Not sure of the relevance of this channel, car won’t start being more analog and raw, those times are over. Maybe review 90-2000 cars instead?
ОтветитьWill the pig nose go away?
ОтветитьThat dash is ass.
ОтветитьSo what new cars today do have authentic connection/feel? Real cars that are attainable - can you give a top 3?
I understand the frustration with todays cars but its what the general market wants - power, quiet, assitance features. Most of the time these are mutually exclusive with feel. What are the 3 best cars under 100k (ideally less, ideally versatile) that really have the feel/connection we seek?
I'm that finance bro with a family. I considered the M3 but that beaver face is just impossible to get over. Kids are small so I went with a CPO 911C2S.
