"How was your day?" Asked the soothing voice of the boy from my closet. "Okay," I replied. Mark was my friend, from the closet that my mother locked, always before going to bed, Mark would ask me how my day was. I always wanted to see Mark, but he told me that the time would come and that he wasn't ready to meet me yet. "Did they bully you at school again?" Mark asked, I hated questions like that but he asked them anyway. "Gabriel wasn't at school today." I replied with reluctance in my voice. "Did your mom finally spend some time with you? Did you play anything? Did you have fun like old times?" A voice from the closet asked. Tears started to come to my eyes, I remained silent. I didn't want him to hear that it hurt me, he always laughed at people who were crying, including me. But when he asked the same question for the fifth time, I replied with a firm "No." There was silence, I thought I would go to sleep in peace, when suddenly Mark asked another question. "Have you visited your father's grave? Michael." It was too much, I left the room, angry, opened my mother's "secret" drawer where she kept the keys to the closet, and decided to open it. When I was unlocking the closet, Mark shouted at me not to do it, but when I opened the door the room became immediately silent. I looked in the closet, but Mark wasn't there. There was a dead man hanging in the closet, with deep wounds in his stomach. His body was already in the process of decomposing, worms were writhing in the body of the corpse, flies immediately flew out of the closet into my room. It was disgusting but at least I know why dad didn't have a funeral.

I mean, if I was alone in a forest and heard this playing, I'd obviously be terrified,,,

But this makes me feel more sentimental. It feels like lost memories.

Story i came up with:

So me and my mother always had this music box. It was pretty old but it was very, very beautiful. The kids at school call me "music box freak" for this but i don't care i just liked the sound of it. It sounds eerie and weird but i don't give a crap.

dear journal, sometimes I hear my parents shouting even though they aren't.. am i going crazy?!

A day later...

I walk in to see blood on the ground where my mothers body was found dead.

"Mother...?"

I ran to go call my father but someone tried strangling me with a knife to my neck I soon heard a voice say...

"Don't run, it will all be over soon, Miya dear~"

It sounded like Lizzie for some reason... Is it her?

"Lizzie...?!"

My voice was muffled but i could tell she heard me.

I soln felt a sharp pain in my neck and I passed out...

A day later...

"yesterday a little girl's family died by another girl called Lizzie Simons. The last thing we found in Miya's diary was "dear journal, sometimes I hear my parents shouting even though they aren't.. am i going crazy?!" So we found the music box and we confiscated it.

I found this music box on the floor of an old abandoned house so i went to go check it out. It played a eerie yet quite calming tune... I decided to keep it and it say with the name of "Miya Anderson". It was that girl i saw on the news. She seems like a vengeful spirit but im just gonna mind my own business.

At 12 AM...

I went to bed early for school. I fell asleep then heard a voice saying this:

"Maddie~ wake up~ no playing games~"

It showed a dark figure of a little girl. I woke up scared as hell! I ran to go tell my mom about it. I told her "MOM! MOM! I SAW A FIGURE OF A LITTLE GIRL!" She didnt believe me. I went to school with my friend. She said "you good? You look scared." I told her "i had a nightmare i think.." we went to class and i started hallucinating.

"Maddie~ stop ignoring me~!"

I know that voice. I said in my mind "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!" She said in response "help." That was the only time she said something without a tilde. I think she is serious this time. I told her "okay? Who are you?" In my mind. She said "I'm not sharing that! Just call me Anonymous for now." THE ATTITUDE OF THIS GIRL!

After school I went to bed and went to sleep. She left me alone for now.

Twice now my husband and his hunting buddy have heard this deep in the woods while sitting in their tree stands. They were sitting quite a distance from each other and could hear it in the distance. It was after Halloween each time, so it wasn’t from any kind of entertainment haunted house- very strange.
