I want grapheneos to bring some good UI and UX atleast like stock google os. Just a little bit would be good enoigh
ОтветитьThanks for the show! I like the idea of the dock. But the size is alittle small compared to my Lenovo P12 Pro on a 12.6 inch screen used as a replacement for a Laptop. I like the soft material on the back on the Pixel though. Graphene OS or similar seem to be mandatory after warranty goes here to.
ОтветитьWould also love to hear about what you use linix for, which OS, what you think of it's security and normie uses, how you make your home network etc... Of not for money, man humanity needs you and patrons will pay off you ask
ОтветитьWhere are you sob!?? Need more on obtanium, github, how to checksum verify etc!!! We really value you. Hope all is well man
Ответитьwhen will there be pixel fold support
ОтветитьHey man love your videos. I've been using graphene on and off for the last year, largely due to the information that you make available. I really want to go full time use. I am having a couple of minor issues that are proving to be a little inconvenient, foremost among them is that I get an "Account is rate limited" when I try to search apps on the aurora store. I also have a truly dismal time trying to get google maps to function properly. Do you know of any common errors/ troubleshooting solutions?
Thanks!
Really appreciated that you plugged in the dock and tested it on video. That's a biggie. Edit: I'd also like to see what mainstream streaming apps work without it throwing errors.
ОтветитьMr. Burritos. What is there do really do with a tablet?
ОтветитьWho would want to travel with the pixel and that horrendous keyboard?
ОтветитьMy problem is whilst device privacy and graphene is great for that. Everything has moved to cloud based services especially if you want to dabble with AI like Bart or ChatGPT the best you can do is reduce your radar signature.
ОтветитьI would be interested of the capabilities of this tablet with graphene when it comes to school work....like how good is the pen support, is there a good app to write/take notes inside of PDFs, how good is the general app comparability. Is the OS just like a bigger Phone OS or are there some adjustments to make it more tablet like?
Does using a custom keyboard fix the fact that the standard keyboard is too big?
Are there other things to consider or should I just get an IPad and call it a day?
So will they develop and release a version for the Pixel Watch to complete the ecosystem?
ОтветитьI used and loved my iPhone/MacBook/iPad combo when I was in the Apple ecosystem. I have a GOS phone and Pop!_OS laptop that are pretty well synced now, and it would be super nice to have a tablet back again that’s not from Apple, so I might look into this!
ОтветитьLooks great
ОтветитьThat keyboard looks like something I MUST HAVE.
ОтветитьHello, I recently purchased a Pixel 7 Pro and found your channel, after a few days I lost connection and found that my pixel has an IMEI BLOCKED due to loss or theft, I could not return it to the seller in China, and so far I have not found a solution , I read that there is a way to change the IMEI with a custom ROM, do you have any idea how to do this, or another solution? please!
ОтветитьAmazing video😀 do you have some recommendations for a sony xperia 1 iii? :D
ОтветитьHey, i rly like your videos.
Can you make a video how you would use an graphene phone save without missing banking, games, getting push notifications for mails or other apps.
I know you can use separate users.
Maybe you can do an example with using banking apps, PokemonGo, mails, WhatsApp (for work) etc.
Would you then have 2, 3 or even more separate accounts?
Thx and greetings
I have a old Pixel tablet with an original keyboard which can be attached to it with magnets. Even if it is now outdated, it was a better user experience I think than this product now.
ОтветитьDoes it have video out?
ОтветитьI was wondering if you could put graphene on a tablet, pretty cool.
ОтветитьDownside of no cellular is no way to use Signal on this thing.
(but Signal is the primary stupid, for requiring a phone number in the first place)
Thanks for the vid. I'm glad GrapheneOS has made it already. When you do your install vid, would you add the backup & restore feature? I would like to see the procedure to restore your phone setup to the tablet.
ОтветитьWith this size form factor, would be cool if you could resize windows to whatever you want and have windows side by side, etc. One of the reasons why I don't do real work on a phone. And this is why I see tablets as just a giant phone despite it not having cell service.
ОтветитьWelcome back sir! Please give us an update of you using the tablet as your daily machine. Would love to see if this could replace my Linux laptop
ОтветитьThx for making this vid, looking forward for the full review! BTW 👍for the security enhanced keyboard😉
ОтветитьHey, Im using android beta 14 on pixel 5. Can I install grapheneos?
ОтветитьWhat I always wanted to know - if you put a custom rom on a pixel, and revert it back to stock - is there also this hardware fuse like on Samsung, (Knox 0x0 / 0x1 which is permanent) where you never ever can use the phone to pay again, or have issues with netflix and stuff?
ОтветитьHow do the specs of the tablet compare to the phones? Every time I see tablet specs, they appear to be handicapped compared to phones. Also, when is its End of Life for firmware and security updates from Google?
ОтветитьGoogle should thank GrapheneOS and CalyxOS projects as they're driving sales. We don't even have Pixels sold in our country by Google but people still import them just to use them with these 2 OSes!
ОтветитьThank You!
ОтветитьJust ordered one thanks to this video, I actually didn't know you can run graphene on the tablet! Very cool! I hope newpipe still works .
ОтветитьGreat stuff
ОтветитьYES!!! I'm so glad you're back! Thank you!
Ответитьwhat kind of protection (yellow) do you use for your pixel phone?
ОтветитьFor "laptop use" I have already gotten myself a Steam Deck, to double as one (kitted out with foldable keyboard, dock, etc.). But if wouldn't have gotten a Framework laptop instead, this looks like a pretty good alternative for on-the-go considering the price.
ОтветитьAt last! A Graphene Tablet! I need this!
ОтветитьVery impressive by the Graphene OS team to pump out this so quickly.
ОтветитьThanks for making this video so quickly! I hope GrapheneOS can do the Pixel Watch.
ОтветитьThis is cool
Ответитьthanx for review Shia LaBeouf
ОтветитьJosh, the burrito's cold. Where've you been? 😊
ОтветитьI love Graphene OS and I love your content... Awesome work :)
ОтветитьI wonder if the GOS version is as limited in terms of speed as the stock is. Saying that because even if it has the same chip as the 7 lineup it seems to be not as responsive, not sure if it's a thing of clocking though
Ответить"Don't use 12345 as your pass code." Noted. Thank you.
ОтветитьBASED NOW I NEED TO GET THIS
ОтветитьThat's kinda....AWESOME!
ОтветитьI 'm looking forward for this! This is the closest thing to a GOS computer we can get. A great idea for a video would be, ways to use it a day to day laptop replacement.
ОтветитьNice review. Cool to see a new form factor for GrapheneOS to run in.
Ответить
