Its weird because my switch can watch this in 4k but we can't play 4k without ps4 pro

i'm wondering what if they they make this a free download game and then u can buy skins and sprays and stuff. Would they make more money that way?🤔

What i want from the remake is secret characters like Spiderman, 80's version of Tony Hawk, Private Carrera (maybe), and Officer Dick 😊.

I wish the animations were more like the originals. The flip tricks are way to fast. I also think they should have waited to add reverts and wall plants. It would have been so nice to go back and have to play in the style of THPS 1 and 2, kind of like the title would suggest. This would have been so much better had they not caved to "line whores" who can't play without reverts and wall plants. It would be like making a reissue of a Civil War game, but we added Flying Saucers and The Terminator to the game, ya know, to make it fresh?
If this was a "real reissue", reverts and wp's wouldn't be there. Kids would have to work hard to score combos. Then new players could evolve with the game as they release reverts, wall plants, in late titles. Newer players could then see how game breaking other mechanics were as they were added in. It would have been so much better like this:
THPS1+2= animations more like the original, no reverts or wall plants. Having manuals, no problem.
THPS3+4= faster animations, reverts, spine transfer
THUG1+2= same as above, plus off the board, cavemans, sticker slap, graf tagging, natas spin, NO JACKASS....
This all writes itself. How this was not the plan blows my mind. I will still buy the game, play it online, and have fun. This could have been so much more. This could have been a even better remaster.
Releasing the game each year put money in Neversofts pocket, destroyed the series, and killed the player base. I bought THPS2 for PC, just to see if it was even worth playing on PC. It blew my PS2 console away. I was slowly becoming a PC player. Then THPS3 was released for PC. THPS3 PC, online play was HOT, we had so many servers going and so many players playing. The game was so crazy. When THPS4 came out, some of the THPS3 players didnt like it as much. well, most of the player base didnt like it as much. Not to mention the port wasn't done so well. Remember KONA???? I had a gaming machine in those days, and they game would run great. I would be on KONA, Blunt Slide the Snake Run, and my fps would go from perfect 30fps to 13fps.
So the player base still wanted to play THPS games, but now the community was split between TH3 and TH4. THis weakened the online community. The PC players got skipped on PC for THUG (except years later 5 copies were sold in Australia). Then THUG2 came to PC. All of the THPS3 and 4 players were burnt out and happy to play THUG2 online. The community was together again! And it thrived. Major mods were made "GK Graf Kore" and that laid the ground for future mods. American Wasteland was released on PC. This port was done worse than THPS4. Myself and some others had machines strong enough to push through the crappy ports. But a lot of players did not. In case you are keeping score, the THPS 2 and 3, was the only port that didn't have performance issues. Every release after that suffered performance issues....... THPS2 and 3 had no performance problems.
American Wasteland came out just over a year after THUG2. Just like THPS3 and 4, this split the player base. A lot of us THUG2 players didnt like THAW. So players kept playing T2, and other THAW. This really hurt the player base. Even more than it did with THPS3 and 4.
So whats my point of this? Well, since they are releasing THPS1+2 together. I hope they don't release THPS3+4 a years from now. It will split the player base again. BUT.............what they could do, is take a look at history. Instead of splitting the player base, and dividing the online players...... They could release THPS3+4 as a add on to THPS1+2. This way the player base stays together online. It would grow the online community and player base. We would not continue to get divided each year until nothing is left.... And don't put out THPS3+4 a year later. Make it 2 years. Then you can release 3+4, and it be good! We have proven we will buy THPS games, even if we know they are bad ports. But look what happened when they are good ports. The players stay, grow, and inspire.
If you did these titles as stated above. You could even go on to do THUG1+2, and make it a DLC add on for THPS1+2+3+4. Then the entire community is still together. Neversoft still make son their money. And we, the players, could have the best releases of THPS games to date. This, is how you do these games right......
p.s.
The CAP (create-a-park) editor is a big deal. It sounds like they know this. In old titles, players all had to download the park to play it online. TH4 kind of fixed that. It sounds like they have fixed it for this game as well. We need to be able to put pieces down in any position on the ground. In all the games, a Quarter Pipe had to be placed on the ground at 12, 3, 6, or 9 o'clock. This made CAP's flow up and down, left and right. I really, really, really, hope they have fixed this!!!!!
It sounds as if they were smart enough to realize this problem. Also CAP space was another biggie. They really limited the size of parks to be made. By increasing this, and allowing object to be placed in more positions, would really take the CAP to another level. Hopefully we can add COMBO, SKATE, and other goals as well.

It's not a fucking remaster for fuck's sake.

I'd hate to sound impatient but when in the hell can I pre-order THPS 1+2 on the PS Store? I don't know what you all are waiting for but this is kind of stupid to not let us pre-order this game on the PS Store right now but we can on other platforms right now. You could have at least explain to us why you can't make this game available for pre-order on PS Store yet so if you can give us a good explanation for reasons on this decision then that would really help us PS4 Players understand your reasons or at least it would help me understand.
