I regret spending 3 minutes of my life on this bullsh1t.
ОтветитьI think you made a big mistake in researching about Japan really wanting the Dutch East Indies (Indonesia). The short answer is that the Dutch East Indies region is very rich in natural resources which Japan really needs to achieve its dream of becoming a superpower. Not only is the Dutch East Indies oil very abundant in mining goods such as copper, tin, iron and so on and also look at the fact today that Japan has been Indonesia's biggest investor since Indonesia's independence, once again because the Indonesian region is very rich and that's very needed by Japan for Japan's prosperity.
ОтветитьGod, how I hate these people who are nothing but warmongers and thieves, and I am not talking about Japan. Russia only knows how to invade and seize territories that do not belong to them. Ukraine is a perfect excuse for the Russian invasion to combat “Nazi” infiltration.
ОтветитьImagine wanting to defend japanese imperial regime occupation as legitimate just because hating russia is necessary
Ответитьwhat if japan wont attack pearl harbor. and focus on war on russia🤔 or expanding west north.
ОтветитьReason why Russia wants that land it's because he's giving all his land to China cuz he doesn't know which way in the world he wants to go but he is sick in the head need to stop Russia and let him know nobody wants him or his garbage I'm All For You Japan
ОтветитьI think they should just give Japan whatever they want.
They gave us Manga and Anime and Ramen and Sushi.
What bs videos western propaganda 😂
ОтветитьOTOMARI 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵 JAPAN. / SAKHALIN.....NO...--ruSSia...☝️👎👎👎👎👎👎🚲🚲
Ответитьrussia really gonna fight even for the smallest lands to make the largest poor country in the world
ОтветитьJapan signed unconditional surrender with the URSS, still Japan has a lot of demands for a country who never even recognised any wrongdoing during WWII or asked for forgiveness from Korea or China or Russia. Japan just creep like vassal worms for USA and think themselves arrogant samurais, that diplomacy don’t work with Russia, so Japan there is no way you can Mari Kondo your History.
ОтветитьJapan wanted to expand for a reason
( Japan is surrounded) 😂
lies . the USSR and Mongolia fought with Japan in 1939 . and the Japanese realized that they would spend too many resources to fight ... and they signed a non-aggression pact.
ОтветитьIT'S RUSSIA AND CHINA. RUSSIA IS NOW GOING FOR JAPAN. CHINA STILL GOING FOR SOUTH CHINA SEA.... 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьFire beat at 6 minutes
ОтветитьUkraine is historically Russian territory. fo with your propaganda.
ОтветитьJapan is small enough, Russia should F off. Japan brings culture to the world like no other.
ОтветитьNot only ethnic Japanese, but also the indigenous Ainu people historically lived in Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands, along with Hokkaido, and with their replacement by ethnic Russians they have lost a big part of their homeland.
ОтветитьJapan lost the islands after WW2, it was territory concession and they have to accept it.
ОтветитьCrazy to think Russia has the closest border to Japan of any country in Asia. XD
How big is this country, seriously
"Fascist"
Disliked for outright lies.
Those islands are Japanese. How stupid can you possibly be to call them Russian. The claim is obviously wrong on the Russian part. "Hey, you know those islands that are part of your island country... well, they are ours. Even though they are even further from us, then your main land is 😅."
ОтветитьI just want to say i recently discovered your channel and have been feverishly devouring all your stuff (yes even your old stuff, no its not as bad as you probably think it is) and I think it's adorable you use civ 6 icons. I genuinely mean it when I say all your choices in production put a smile on my face :)
ОтветитьRiiiiight because the last time the Russians fought the Japanese they did soooooo well
Ответитьanyone else in awe of these videos?
ОтветитьI wonder if japan will get Sakhalin on top of those other islands after the next world war
ОтветитьI was raised Mormon and at age 19 got sent on my two year Mormon missionary experience to the Japan Sapporo Mission, 1986-1988. (Just a note, I ditched Mormonism after coming home: Japan was amazing but I lost any belief in the religion itself).
My first posting was Kitami, then Sapporo, then Date (Dah-tey), then Higashi Muroran, then Sapporo again, and for my final four months I was sent to Nemuro, right smack in the middle of what this video is about. From the moment I arrived there the issue with the Kiril Islands and the Soviet Union was right in your face. (By the way, the orientation of Hokkaido in the video when first showed is a bit skewed, showing the islands going north west from Hokkaido when they actually go off north east, as later in the vid.)
All around town on lamposts there were yellow posters that showed a towering, menacing Soviet soldier like a giant standing on an island. We regularly heard stories of how the sea used to be a rich fishing ground but since the Soviets took over the islands after WWII they'd established a security zone overlapping the best fishing grounds. Meaning that Nemuro went from being a thriving fishing port to being impoverished. Fishing boats who went into the zone would be apprehended, the Japanese fishermen then spending five years in jail as punishment before being sent back to Japan. Women in town whose husbands had suffered that fate were treated as local heroes.
Some Japanese friends eventually took us out to Cape Nosappu, where there was a huge centre all about the issue. In its middle was an eternally burning flame. Huge elaborate rooms giving the history of the problem. Walls were covered with drawings by schoolchildren all on the theme of 'give us back the islands!'. Out on the deck were scopes you could look through to see the closest island, where you could actually zoom in on Soviet soldiers on patrol. Not only that but you could zoom in on Soviet ships. It was the first time I'd ever seen any kind of 'war ship' and it really floored me. The scale of it. Like a floating city.
Of all the places I lived in Hokkaido over two years, in a country so positive and optimistic and upbeat, Nemuro really was the only place with a sense of grievance and desolation that was palpable. At the same time, August Bon-odori festivals were a huge thing in Hokkaido, full of street events and dragon parades , and, almost to make up for it, the Bon-odori festival in Nemuro was one of the most amazing I saw there.
The geographical advantage that the US has is absolutely incredible.
ОтветитьIt is a good thing that Russia has it, because Russia has a small population and the natural environment can be well protected. If it is occupied by Japan, Japan will immigrate and destroy the environment on a large scale
Ответить北方領土を返せ、露助
ОтветитьIronic Russians are so proud of their history yet the forget in the Russo-Japanese war they lost huge numbers of men trying to cover up their failures, the czars failures. Like Putins failures.
ОтветитьNot even close; if Japan had gone with the northern strategy, and not gone to war with the US, Germany would never declared war on the US. Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union would probably still be at war, the US under Roosevelt might never have found a way to get into the war in Europe and the UK would probably have eventually caved.
I'm very interested in whether Japan had the tech to exploit that oil; Russia has a bleeding edge oil field in the far East, probably here, which they can't exploit without western workers and tech
Strategic as it may be for a military power, Russia doesn't even have a breath of a legal claim to these 4 islands
ОтветитьIf only Russia would be satisfied with all the territory they have. We all know historically these island were not occupied by Russians , or any other Slavic country. Greed. Power.
ОтветитьIf it looks like Trump is winning it's coming back 😢
ОтветитьExcellent job ignoring roughly 80% of the context for the war. It's almost like you want Americans to support the war and in order for that to happen you have to ignore 100% of the part America and NATO have played. It's been said before and is more true than ever, "Americans are the most propagandized population in the world". Yes that includes north Korea.
ОтветитьImperial Japanese elites were greatly influenced by Marxism and believed that the future of mankind was with socialism.
Although they make political compromises, the Japanese are intellectually and ethically pure, so they regard the Soviet-American alliance as dishonest.
For this reason, Japan could not guarantee the sincerity of the Soviet Russians without returning the Northern Territories and did not conclude a peace treaty.
And the elites of Imperial Japan rebuilt post-war Japan as "the most successful socialist country on earth."
In my opinion, they were more pure to socialism than the USSR or China.
Burg that was the russian empire and the USSR which doesant even exist now so it's Russia's terratory
ОтветитьALL WILL RUSSIA
ОтветитьYou know what I need? A job…a good job in those “peace talks”. I don’t have to achieve anything, nobody wants me to achieve anything.
ОтветитьNever trust neither the Russians nor the USA.
ОтветитьExcept that rewriting Russian constitution has been a popular occupation.
ОтветитьBetter settle it fast before the US finds oil on those islands
ОтветитьWhy Russia is not "Fighting " Japan Over These Islands
ОтветитьDear narrator there is a T in winter so it's not winner!🤷
Ответитьas a Chinese i must tell you that in this issue Chinese government support Japan.stallin occupied Dalian port and did not want to return to China after the WW2.Mao Zedong said that the Soviet Union occupied too much territory of Asian nations. On the world map published by the China government, you can see the four northern Japanese islands (occupied by Russia)
ОтветитьWHO HERE IS FROM MUNN
ОтветитьHi 🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьJapan is the United States puppet. It can't claim anything
ОтветитьOil was the reason. Who knew lol.
