My adoptive mother was always putting me down and looking down to me when I tried to learn music. Because she said I sounded bad.

I know nobody cares about it but I'm gonna write this anyway. I always knew I wanted to be a professional classical musician. My parents forced me to study Tourism and to become a receptionist. I hate it. I'm sorry to be so brutally honest with you all but that's the truth...even if it hurts. My mother wouldn't allow me to even take the exam to go to the conservatorie. I'm 30 and I can't keep the receptionist job for long before being fire. I'm very bad at pretending that I give a s*it about people's holidays. I just don't care about it. A holiday is a want, not a need. People don't realize this but music and specially classical music is much more important for the soul and mind that going on holidays. Music is health for the soul. And it's impossible to not see God in classical music. Beethoven was deaf and even him, a deaf person, could see God in music. I know I'm 30...and I'm still living with my parents, which is shameful and ridiculous. I enden up hating my adoptive mother because she was the one who prevented me from becoming a musician.
Now I'm 30. And I haven't even started learning music...who is gonna hire me as a musician?

For this young lady and anyone else, PASTOR TIM ROSS has a great Podcast where he speaks on this. He basically says, be careful of getting caught up in the COMPARISON GAME. Let’s not all assume that THE MARK is pastoring, preaching etc. Maybe your mark is being the light in the circle you’re currently in, and that is your great mission.

I love this !! My daily prayer is that I find my purpose in life according to his will. I know I’m here not only to serve the Lord but for a purpose . I pray that it’s revealed one day. But Joyce is so right !! We have to get out there and look first ! I truly think that’s when I’ll have my “aha” moment .

I love this. We are all here for a sole purpose! All we can do is step out on faith & try. Good is strategic and he knows all things. I am finding my purpose in my single season. Praying the same for all others single or not.

Sometimes you already know what you are not good at. So if those opportunities come maybe you shouldn't take it bc it's not going to work. Sometimes opportunities are there for you what you are not good at. I think many people don't enjoy their jobs bc they have no other choice but to do that jobs. This is not a very simple.

I have the purpose of PATIENCE with teaching kids reading strategies and phonics. It’s mentally draining but I don’t notice it when I’m privately tutoring until my day is done and I’m home. It’s because of my patience and encouragement towards the kids the parents see I have is the reason I continue to gain clients. But sometimes I wish I had a purpose that was more creative in the arts or singing. Even with that I still ask God to let his will be done not mine, I live to worship him🧘🏽‍♀️🙏🏾🕊

You wanna know your purpose? Look at where you’re the most broken. That’s a good place to start.

I'm also a caregiver I was Called to help the elderly and I feel it sometimes I wake feeling tired as soon as I'm with my client I have energy I know God gives this to me! I care about people and enjoy it❤️

I love to find places to visit and go to those places. I really enjoy this & talk to people along the way. People need people and they need someone to notice them and say hi with a smile. I'm not afraid to talk to people I don't know!! Yesterday I was in la Jolla I said hi to a Muslim woman and smiled maybe she needed that? I also enjoy God's peace sitting on a Rock in the Ocean watching the tide come in was the best stress reliever and so peaceful! La Jolla Cove was like being on a island just loved it . God makes Beautiful things I hope to find more.
