Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition Review - The Final Verdict

Very disappointed with this game. It is BS that the only way to "unlock" anything or gain any XP or fight money is to be connected to the internet.

the so praised arcade mode sadly only consists of 3 fights per character and a cutscene. Thats it. No bosses or meeting nemesis like in SSF4.
It is worth it now for 8$ tho in steam ,since there is a sale rn.

Been playing this game since it first came out. And I must say I love Street Fighter but the guy in this video it's not really telling the truth. It's a good game but I feel like it is the worst Street Fighter that has ever came out. The reason why I say that it is a heavy emphasis on the microtransactions and a Online economy. And the DLC is very overpriced $30 for a season pass 1, 2 & 3. It weighs the fun down of the game and if you are playing competitively you're going to want to learn every character so you will have to buy the season passes to be the first ones to play with the character and learn them. And not to mention they buff the new characters and Nerf the old characters each season pass. I don't think Capcom think we notice it.

So I'm confused does this have everything the regular Street Fighter V has plus some or is it a totally different game I don't want to buy it and be disappointed. I'm pretty much buying it just to play as a Laura

So I see DLC got even to SF. Fucking idiots who pay for incomplete games, no wonder now it's common practice to never release a full game and hold back to trickle it in and squeeze every $$$.

This game is fucking awesome! it's a lot more fantastic than it was at launch! plus the additional characters are a great plus! And the gameplay? it's still fantastic. This puts SF4 to shame!

I usually don't care much for stories in fighting games, I come for the characters and arcade mode :)

Why do you rate this game so highly? FM is extremely grindy now so Capcom is literally forcing you to use real money especially for new buyers. Extremely bad business model which is very anti-consumer.

Don't buy this game! It's a scam, I was expecting like ultimate streetfighter 4 that they have all the characters, instead u still going to download all the additional characters. The season pass will expire 2020 and after that your left with an old fighting game with 16 characters.

OK if each arcade mode allowed you to unlock the boss from that particular game version as a playable character then I might have forgiven capcom too play multiple times too not even unlock new costumes seems like a dragon punch too the ballz we bort the demo 2 years ago think we deserve some free characters you tight ass demo sellers

Shit should of had this when it launched 2 years ago sad. The original game was so bare it wasn't even funny I would've gladly taken this over that half assed BS story mode.

I learned to never buy the first version of a new street fighter game because capcon will eventually come out eith a refined version. they did it with 4 and now 5.

Have they done anything yet to remedy the insane amount of loading screens?
