I Absolutely love watching your vids...you are a wonderful entertainer...your knowledge and ability to chat with anyone...the enthusiasm for the game we all love that you project is infectious , makes me want to play...and you are a stunning young lady...beautiful inside and out....thankyou so much...please keep doing what you do so well.😊
Great vid as allways 🎉🎉
ОтветитьSo hope you come to Delamere again for qualifying and maybe before to “work it out”. Perhaps bring Dan with you. He smoked it with Alan Shearer. Best wishes David
ОтветитьYou need a better bag 😂
ОтветитьSmoking that new driver iona ,keep going see you at Porthcawl x
ОтветитьThis course screams faux links. Can't imagine I'd ever come back here with Elie, Leven/Lundin in the area.
ОтветитьI wonder if the injury will resurface now that you’ve gone back to a similar shaft to the one you were using leading up to your injury.
ОтветитьGreat video, Iona. What a lovely course. Chasing the red for sure but still a bit far from scratch. Although I did improve from a 9.1 to a 7.4 handicap this year. Hope springs eternal!
ОтветитьThere's not a golf course on the planet id be paying 300 pounds for n whatever sort of fool does more fool you
ОтветитьAtmospheric & absorbing, good luck in all you do. You portray an enjoyment of lie that is infectious.
Ответить9 holes 36, My mother was born 1936..lol. Lydia Ko I saw Lydia Ko win the Australian Open 2012, she won $285K. She's a woman of faith and also I had a Burmese cat named Lily, she was a Lilac. I really enjoyed this video. Go GT lol
ОтветитьAmazing episode, superb production. I am currently looking at t100 and t200 2 and 3 irons, clubs I love to have but can't really find. As you say with an iron shot its not about power, get it straight and the loft and ball will do the rest, it annoys me buying iron sets that only go down to 4. Probably people wanting hybrid or so called rescue clubs that are not as reliable or as accurate as a 2 or 3 iron influencing the market!
ОтветитьGreat round Iona , highlight was how that coffee lasted till the 5th hole!
ОтветитьWas in St. Andrews a couple years ago with my son. Played Dumbarnie twice because we loved the course. Great memories of our time in Scotland. Thanks for all your content. You are a fine player good luck on your next qualifying opportunity.
ОтветитьAnother great episode ❤
HC crawling down slowly this year but played 2 under NET last weekend, so I was over the moon. Next, to find better consistency through 18
I'd love to see an episode with an NLP coach or sports pysch. Help with the inner monologue is hugely needed here 😂 (I'd be devastated if someone spoke to me the way I speak to myself!) I know you've had guests on that use great self talk, but some tips and insight on how and where to apply NLP in the game would be great.
Ok Iona you can be on my scramble team anytime . You’re a great ball striker.
ОтветитьTake away the three-putts and you'd have a nice 2-under 34. Well played!
ОтветитьWow green fee 😢😢
ОтветитьSorry but it's not even a patch on Royal County Down ... Newcastle N. Ireland ⛳️⛳️⛳️
ОтветитьDavid taught me as a junior at Blairgowrie in the '80s. I didn't play for 33 years until 20 months ago. It's really interesting to see how things have changed in golf. It's great to learn that he had a great career and to see that he's still doing good things!
ОтветитьFirst watch was your visit to Iona and was completely won over by your down to earth commentary. Hope you achieve your goal of playing pro .
ОтветитьToo much chat that should belong in a podcast. The golf was great as always but a golf video should mainly contain golf not the golfer walking with their bag
ОтветитьYou are smoking hot. And you play golf!! Perfect woman
ОтветитьI am nowhere near chasing red, but I will say after watching your lesson with Butch, I went and took a few with a local coach to me and it has paid massive dividends. So thanks for the push I needed
ОтветитьAs usual, great work.
ОтветитьBrilliant as always.Great golf and so your are so interesting. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьHi Iona, would I be correct in assuming you were named after the Isle of Iona, as my wife Catriona and many others have been? Have you played the course on the island? Watching this video certainly reminded me of it, stunning views and some great holes. I would love to play the course with you sometime, I could show you all the holes, as many are hidden!
Info - the course is set on the Machair, is free, has 18 holes, great views, plus sheep, cattle, an occasional bull plus many tourists enjoying the magic and history of the island. Cheers Brian
Stunning course. Kinda fills me with fear, but definitely going to put this on my list for playing
Ответить37mins of Iona is not enough! Show us every play from hole1-18!
ОтветитьFab video. Great to see your golf and your fantastic swing as usual. Gentle suggestion if you could reduce the commentary and inserts a bit - hampers the golfy flow of the vid. Thanks!
ОтветитьEvery time I watch one of your videos I get so inspired. Thanks for the guests you have and the wisdom they share. Your energy, attitude and passion is amazing. I wish you all the best in chasing the red.
ОтветитьSurely you don't need to say AIG every single time you say Womens Open
ОтветитьThose fairways look so tight!
Your playing has been an inspiration this year to see how I can get back to where I was before I broke my wrist. Lessons, reconstructing it, have got me down from 22.6 at the start of the season to 19.6 now, and I am sure there is more to go as it finally beds in. If I can do the back 9 at 3 over off the whites, 19.6 looks.... generous. 45/40 was my best last year. I should be better than that now... Still a little time to go this season
The wedge lessons have been particularly interesting. Love the fluidity, and thinking about releases.

ОтветитьIona is the best!
ОтветитьI’m definitely in love 😍
ОтветитьIt’s not how far it’s how many that counts
ОтветитьLoved the vibe of this video.
ОтветитьLove Chasing the Red! Thanks for keeping it real and relatable. I was fortunate to be in Scotland last week for a ton of golf and very much enjoyed Dumbarnie. Can’t believe it’s only been there for four years (great design as it looks like it has been there for quite a bit longer). Appreciated your commentary on hole strategy and comparing back to how I (should have) played each hole. Funny enough, like you I just put a GT3 in the bag from a TSR3 as well and used it for the first time in Scotland. Keep the great content coming!
Ответить". . . a knee knocker for par." Never heard that expression! 😄
ОтветитьVery solid golf. Just a couple of loose putts was the difference. Great content and very interesting to hear about the qualifying.
ОтветитьWorking alot on my irons, which is 'The club' we use most, making good progress.. the red is edging closer! Welcome back to the steely brigade, we missed you! 😂 Thinking of upgrading irons to, I use Mizuno mp-32, bladed irons, essentially, but with a lower COG for elevation... didn't realise.. ouch! That said, done wonders for my golf swing! So, going for some MB s next, which make not sure! 😊
ОтветитьI love that you are rocking the Loch Lomond open Gillet. Keep up the great work
Ответить-4 under. Well done
ОтветитьIona, I love your videos. Thank you.
ОтветитьAbsolutely loved this post.
Thank you Iona, dragging me from my laptop onto the course to experience this with you.
Presentation skills and game on point.
You’ve gained a subscriber!!
Keep going Girl, love your vid's and am sure you will make the open next year the way you are playing.
ОтветитьYour swing drills have been fantastic in improving my game. Now down to 1.6 but for the life of me I struggle with my fairway wood of the deck. Would love to see you work on that aspect of your game. Thanks for all the videos. I played here a few weeks ago, great course and it was gusting 30mph. Tough track
ОтветитьMarshalled on the 10th at the old course for the AIG and I can confirm it was a wee bit windy !!!!
