All a million times more elegant than the trash people wear today
Ответитьthe first lady dresses better than most people nowadays lol
ОтветитьBlimey the critic would get a shock how some women dress or undress now ..
ОтветитьI wear a hat and gloves most days, actually. And let me say that buying accessories (or patterns for the same) becomes a d d i c t i v e; I travel with at least five hats and as many pairs of gloves, depending on the duration of trip, destination, etc.
This from a person who had 50+ hats in high school and DIDN'T grow up in the 30s 🤣🤣
A bit before my time. They knew how to look elegant.
Men looked like men. Very smart especially in three piece suits with brogues and a trilby hat.
Long dark gloves in spring and a flowing hat of a different colour? I don't think so. Ah but we can now look back and laugh and thank our lucky stars this man is not our husband!
ОтветитьThese videos are so relaxing, even if it’s about a guy trashing peoples outfits lol
ОтветитьSo Chauvinistic, the announcer, that's the guy speaking with food in his mouth? has forgotten that WW2 had only been over for months and men and women could only buy British government designed clothes because clothes just like food and most other daily items were rationed!!!
ОтветитьHasta el vendedor ambulante con terno asu esos tiempos
ОтветитьWow what a cute hat and shoes I loved it 🥰🥰🥰
ОтветитьIt’s actually an interesting time for fashion. Coming right out of WW2 and rationing, people probably had no idea what they could and should do with fashion and personal expression. I don’t think Dior’s “New Look” was around at this time
ОтветитьOhhhh a gay frock….l the mind boggles.
ОтветитьYeah, well....I think they are all pretty young ladies. Slim and elegant.
ОтветитьExcellent taste, in style and dress is best determined by what remains widely visually pleasing long after the fad has passed. By that metric, this dude’s opinion is a complete fail judging by these comments.
Seriously hope these ladies were all paid, and dressed by the producers for this arbitrary BS.
I liked the first one because it seems cute, comfortable and casual and the last girl I didn't care for
ОтветитьStanding on the corner
Watching all the girls, watching all the girls
Go by ... 😗🎶
😂😂😂
ОтветитьITS irony people....
ОтветитьSince when does a man get to decide what's fashionable for women and what's not 🤦
ОтветитьGeez, one year after the war ended. Rations still in effect. Tough society!
ОтветитьSAVAGE! 😂
ОтветитьWell-dressed or not, every girl in the video was cute.
ОтветитьI liked the first two outfits best.
ОтветитьYou notice they started out with a plus-sized woman? She’s a ‘DON’T’ just by leaving the house. 😕
ОтветитьThe hat and long gloves in the ‘do’ outfit were a lot. 🤔
ОтветитьI personally thought the first lady looked very nice, as a matter of fact, I liked all the clothes. I love my vintage clothes. I get compliments every time I wear them
ОтветитьCudowne!
Chciałabym się przenieść do tych ulic lat 30 i 40. To są naprawdę wyjątkowe ubrania.
I thought all of the girls looked lovely. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
ОтветитьThis commentary is rude lol
ОтветитьDisgusting kind of fashion ahhahahah
ОтветитьMansplaining 40's style ;)
ОтветитьExcuse me but this was after the War what the hell did they expect?
ОтветитьThey all look a million miles better then the mess we see today
ОтветитьOh god that accent!!
ОтветитьMen criticizing women's fashion in 1940. I'm from the future and men still haven't found anything better to do. The world evolves around what women do.
ОтветитьHasn't this chappie heard about London street style ???!!! For myself ... I thought all the young ladies looked perfectly charming !!
ОтветитьPerhaps he should spend more time looking for a man to get rid of that PMS for him, rather than bullying the way women dress, which won’t matter to him anyway, since we all know he isn’t looking for kitty.
Ответитьthe first were nice but the last a mix of Turkey, gloves for something fancy and omg that fuc... dress SO HORRIBLE
fortunately was in the last with seconds while the first were longer
I think the first girl looked gorgeous.
ОтветитьWeir how it was ok to have a net on the head before
Fashion changes so much!
What the hell? First girl looked fantastic, last one looked like she raided a period film set for that ridiculous hat. Am I missing something?!
ОтветитьThat last hat was horrendous.
ОтветитьReally, dude? The first girl was dressed more casual, because she can't afford high end clothes.
The second one is a wealthy fashionista.
Give me a break.
My grandmother grew up in the 50s and 60s. She said the outfit, in the beginning, was what most wore in the 1940s. My great grandmother had her own style, but also the fashion of the day. That was it, that first one! The last one my grandma wanted nothing to do with.
ОтветитьThat last outfit was a hot mess...
Ответитьdrag the bitch
Ответить"Oh, hello, Reginald. What are you doing here?"
"Just walking around being super critical and judging women by how they look."
First girl looked the best; followed by the girl in tweed. Fashionable girl looked like a fashion victim with that ugly hat! Rest of her outfit was pretty.
Ответитьthe fashionable outfit...what is that THING on her head?
Ответить
