Scanning gas planets from orbit gives you a scan data really quickly.

I saved up a ton of contraband at an outpost, leveled up commerce, then sold all of it when I got my level up

A big tip, when doing missions. Go out your way and loot every enemy, they carry a few credits but if your on a mission with dead civlilians already spawned in, they can carry from anywhere between 300-800 credits per person (in my experience). I did a sidequest defeating spacers after a distress call to a research facility. I probably made 6k credits in an hour once the quest was finished

Im only like 14 hours in and i only have 28,000 credits right now im just focused on ranking up some of my skills and upgrading my ship

You can get to the trade authorities straight from the starport also if you go past the viewport and the store that's on its right there's a small hallway with an elevator and that's your way down to the well where the trade Authority is

If you want a good weapons set up on your ship for boarding ships go with the weapons that do equal shield to hull damage and EM weapons and (Rockets cause you need three).
You can put all your energy into your main weapons if your not trying to board or throw some into the EM weapons when you want to board.

Money and exp can be got pretty efficiently if you get into outpost. But a lot of people seem to be a little smooth brained to understand it. Or they just never got into the outpost system of fallout

Also you can wash stolen goods their too at the trade athourity. Just sell all your red marked items then buy them back for the same cost of selling them. Also if yiou want to beef up how much money thry have buy ammo, its weightless so why not.

The Den in the "Wolf" System takes contraband and there is no cargo scan. No need for shielded cargo and fussing about with that. The vendor inside usually starts with 11k credits.

If you want easy money then you WeMod. You can give yourself anything and more.

Promoting real money trading is basic scamming! Do it and get caught then your set back and they still win because they got your money!

Spamming outposts to extract certain resources to then make refined goods is much faster for money and xp than contraband. Look for something you can make and sell at a reasonable price, find a planet(s) with the resources to make that thing, setup extractors tied to a bunch of containers, go to Venus and wait a day(because Venus days are longer than just about anywhere), come back and refine all of those resources, sell as much as you can, wait 2 days of UT, repeat. You can get dozens of levels and hundreds of thousands of credits in a few hours with essentially no necessary skill investments.

Lol I use kinguin before in the past and they used to send me peoples emails and passwords with the specific game I purchased on. I’d download all the games that person has, I never use them again now because its very illegal.

You can actually go to the Wolf system and go to The Den Starport completely avoiding scans in the process, there is a Trade Authority vendor to the left slightly past the entrance. Furthermore, you can buy signal jammers from Lon or the CF to increase your scan evasion chance. Finally, there are two terminals to the left of the Starport in Jemison, they are on the balcony area up the ramp, and slightly closer than viewport.

FYI my fellow starfarers, if you don't want to worry about ship scans on settled planets, head to Wolf Den station where there is a Trade Authority ready and willing to take your treasures. ;) I'm sure there are other stations with Trade Authority posts as well.

Just fast travel to "The Den" (spacestation) in the Wolf system if you want to sell your contrabands. It's right next to the Sol system.

There are no scans etc. involved there and the vendor comes with 11.000 credits (wait 24-48 hours for it to reset). He will also accept any stolen items you have 👌

It takes less than 2mins to board and exit if all you have to do is "cash in" 🤑

If you selling contraband, ignore settled planets entirely. Just got to The Den in the Wolf system. Got a TA right inside, they don't scan, and the TA has 11k to use, more that most IIRC.

Or you can just go to the Wolf System and dock at "The Den" and go to the trade authority booth. You don't get scanned going into the wolf system so no need to bother with installing shielded cargo bays.

2/3ds of every YT Starfield guide I’ve seen suggest switching the difficulty. Why not just console yourself a million credits, if you’re willing to do this? Give me the guide on VH, por favor.

The values in this game tick me off. Lol. It's not hard to say what is actually going to sell for.

Press console button on PC type player.additem 0000000f push space bar after player.additem and after 0000000f and put amount of money you want then you're rich. It will disable achievements but you can turn them back on through nexus mod to turn them back on.

If I remember correctly the difficulty change method is an oversight even as far back to Skyrim
