I was impressed with Ma Long technique at first then I realized something. When Wang Liqin was dominating his forehand was the best, Ma Lin has the best serve, Wang Hao had the best backhand and so forth. Ma Long on the other hand has no such thing, when you watch the local league sometimes he lost to opponent that turned out with their high risk game and was on fire, while Ma Lon on the other hand has consistency on any wing on most of the game. It was his intelligence plays that pull him through, not his technique. He always appear with 9/10 game and you can only defeat him if you ready to bring your 10/10 all game
