In the OG Rurouni Kenshin, there's an arc where a cult of villagers is promised that they'll see god soon & their leader, the arc's main villain sets of mines in the final showdown against Kenshin and company.

A small child runs out onto the battlefield during that scene screaming that he wants to see god & pretty much gets blown up. My roommates and I were rolling on the ground, cackling in tears at the absurdity of it all. Turns out the boy lived through it somehow ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I could just imagine bystanders watching Mark beating up a kid and wondering if they need to do something about it 😂😂😂
