Team 5D's vs Team Ragnarok Full Duel

If Team Ragnarok had the newer cards especially Svalinn they would had easily won. The Aesir Gods should had been way more powerful and just as potent as the Egyptian Gods in terms of their effects, but the Aesir can endlessly revive themselves where the Egyptian Gods can’t so the playing field is just about even. The Aesir Gods and Egyptian Gods are the only trio of Gods that are badass because they are actual gods from their mythologies. Not those lame ass Sacred and Wicked wannabes.

There are mistakes in this duel
1st at the last turn Harald could just pass and then abuse Gjallahorn, but ok 2 sets and Shooting on field there's another one, the second mistake in the last turn before using Odin's Eye he could use Thor eff to negate Shooting star Dragon and then use Odin's Eye. This could avoid Zero Force. But ok it's just an Anime

Thx for uploading this amazing duel. Yusei is the reason why i played QuickDraw DandyWarrior deck back then and always managed to be in top 16 or top 8 in tournaments.

Til this day in still PISSED an ex friend of mine convinced me, a returning player since DM, to trade my newly pulled Exciton Knight for a shitty Nordic deck that didn't even have the good Nordic tuner. I was so excited to have it because of the anime, but it was the most frustrating thing to ever play. I got conned so hard.

While I really like how great Yusei's comeback was written, I personally feel the plot armor was a bit too much somehow. I mean seriously how could he manage to fare against 3 Aesirs along with crucial lockdown strategies from Harald? Though he has help from Crimson Dragon marks' power in helping him to create miracles of drawing the right cards. On another fact, Harald with 3 Aesirs is essentially the strongest duelist not from Team 5ds or Yliaster in the entire series.

What I always loved about this duel is how Yusei summons BOTH Savior and Shooting star but also he doesn’t instantly win with them. 💫 that’s how dangerous the Nordic gods were. Also the multiple win conditions Harald put Yusei under and how Yusei manages to counter and outplay all of them is insane. One of my all time favorite duels if not my favorite from the entire series.

Can someone please explain to me how Yusei negated the effects of the Aesirs even after Halldor used Tyr to prevent their effects from being negated?

Wait couldn’t Harald have just immediately ended his turn to win with Gjallarhorn? Shooting star dragon couldn’t use its effect to negate an attack if Harald had done that, so it wouldn’t have left the field, and Zero Force wouldn’t activate. So the three gods would’ve had all their ATK, and Yusei would’ve taken 10K damage and lost lmao. So this is the SECOND time (after team unicorn) that Yusei only won because the last opponent chose to attack instead of ending their turn.
