Simple screwdriver... with 18V battery? I think they already have a screwdriver with 4V platform too.
I think Ryobi already have PCL201, a keyless chuck with the same motor. Perhaps just right for furniture assembly but not any other.
An 18v full sized gun-type screwdriver with no selector ring in 2024. 😶
-- I mean, I get that gun-type selector screwdrivers are on the pricey side but a Bosch PS21 is only a hair over a hundred bucks. A drill has a need, an impact driver has a need. But a screwdriver is just a luxury and one should save for a full featured one instead 😅
make a video about 2836-20 milwaukee
Ответитьbefore I go spending more money on bits would it not be better to just use the hex head impact bits I already have ?
ОтветитьUmmm. No thanks. I’ll use proper trigger control on any number of my variable speed drivers or drills. Almost seems like the is like a speed limiter for when your handing you 16 the keys to your sports car for prom.
ОтветитьThis is another screwdriver by Ryobi? What about the 4v that just came out? Where does this fit in the lineup?
ОтветитьLike this screw driver. Wish this tool has a one + hp tool. It would great for samll screws. Thank you for the videos!
ОтветитьAh ryobi…. Make a huge platform for a task that everyone else does at 1/3 the size. Lol god I can’t stand ryobi.. it will likely burn up after the 20th fastener.😆😆
ОтветитьReview dewalt selfeed bit 3 cuts
ОтветитьI see the sparks, help to light up the torch for soldering, that's one of the selling point
ОтветитьMilwaukee's M12 screwdriver has competition.
They both seem to be brushed, but the M12 is more compact with the smaller battery.
I've got mine for $59 also.
RYOBI, if you are viewing this... please come up with a combination impact wrench & 1/4 hex like the Bosch freak but with more power. I would definitely add that to my tool collection but not this... I already have the Milwaukee version of this screwdriver I bought years ago that has served me well.
ОтветитьA good screw gun is an extremely valuable and usually massively underrated tool. But no clutch settings? I’ll pass.
ОтветитьTheir usb lithium line handles this job significantly better. Plain and simple. For 49.99 you can get their installation driver kit. Invalidates this existence
ОтветитьInitially I thought no. Your last example of the 3.5” deck screw proves this is an excellent drill for anyone in the family or general assembly. Thank you.
ОтветитьSimplistic doesn’t mean what you think it means! 👍
Ответитьlack of control for limiting torque seems like a big deal breaker. Using it to install screws in plastic or assembling ikea furniture is going to strip the screw pretty easily. The M12 screw driver has torque control for this reason. This could maybe works as a cheap tool for disassembly only????
ОтветитьYou can get a drill to do the same thing, and for the same price.
ОтветитьSeems like solution looking for problem. The compact drills handle the same duties with more flexibility.
ОтветитьYou can get the vastly far superior M12 12V Lithium-Ion Cordless 1/4 in. Hex Screwdriver Kit with Two 1.5Ah Batteries, Charger and Tool Bag, for $99 at Home Depot
ОтветитьThanks for the review. It seems kind of bulky for a screwdriver, also it's disappointing that the light is at the base. I can live without quick insert collet. Pass
ОтветитьNice review. Man I could have used this last 3 weeks. I work at a police dept and they have a 6 lane shooting range. They have plywood hanging down at a slight angle to keep wayward ammo from hitting ceiling and they originally glued ceiling panels to it then added thousands of nails over the years to keep it in place. I replaced panels (25 cartons) with new but used 3 inch wood screws and washers. 5 per panel. The drill I used got pretty heavy with overhead work. That thing would have been awesome. I think I am getting it for around house. I retire in August so forget work!
