🔥What's your dream keyboard? What should I review next?
ОтветитьDo you think its ok tu use artutoria with Komplete 14 Sw?? MAny Thanks for your great videos!
ОтветитьI've heard the stiff action on the keys of this thing is somewhat unplayable... I wish it was a lie cause i love this keyboard and i wanna buy it
ОтветитьThe keys have become yellow with time too
Ответитьnicely reviewed. thanks
ОтветитьMy Keylab 88 MKII comes tomorrow! ☺
ОтветитьHello. Is it possible to activate scale mode on this keyboard? Maybe in Piano 5, or in Analog Lab, or in a DAW? I know the Essential series has this feature on board, but I'm still wondering just in case.
ОтветитьHi, thanks for the video. Do you know how long the faders are, I assume 60mm? Thanks.
ОтветитьAs a pianist by profession I find the keyboard really great for those with a weak technique it might seem a bit heavy but the resistance is beautiful to control tone I can’t complain at all. Feels very nice to play. Of course I won’t swap out my grand or upright this is my additional instrument for composition and gigs that focus on more contemporary music that are using ableton and a variety of sounds prepared before.
ОтветитьCould it linked to headphones and play without a DAW ? I mean can it be used as digital piano when I go in holiday instead of the classic piano.
ОтветитьIs this great for synth sounds?
Ответитьhi! loved that. had a question im looking to buy this keyboard but im confused should i buy digital piano or this midi keyboard , since it has weighted hammer action and many many sound options it looks better deal than a digital piano. btw im okay with using it with a DAW, i mostly use pro tools and Ableton live.
ОтветитьThank you for this review, the most useful on the Keylab88 !
ОтветитьSanjay, I'd really like to hear you place the entire piece.
ОтветитьI'm not normally a big fan of yours; but this review was very useful. Thank you!
Ответитьafter about 5 years, when will Arturia release a new Keylab Essential and MK series ? isn't it about time ?
Ответитьis there a keyhold function on the keyboard? :)
ОтветитьNoooo cos they put the mod wheel to far from the bass keys! argh
ОтветитьI ordered this thing yesterday. I seriously cannot wait. I've been playing the piano since I was 4 and started playing around with DAWs around 11 maybe? Anyway I've always loved producing music even if no one else ever hears it and since moving to university, and after having not played the piano in years, I just can't wait until this gets here. Good thing I'm watching the review after ordering it lollll
ОтветитьWhat is that thing you put your computer in?
ОтветитьWhat is the shelf on the back?
ОтветитьExcelllent review. You are accomplished in many facets. Can you detail the piece you open with? I should learn it. Happy New Year 🎉🥂🌹!
ОтветитьI'll take Won Please 🙏
ОтветитьI see the problem, it's painted white 🤔
ОтветитьBeautiful playing. Though I'm disappointed in the piano sound. Sounds a bit harsh. I'm torn now. I love how much it offers in terms of soundtracks and effects. I was keen on getting one but not sure I want to give up the my yamaha p125. Piano sounds amazing on this.
ОтветитьGot this keyboard was super disappointed in the key bed. Semi weighted keys remind me of a $200 childs play toy.
ОтветитьToo many reviews about a noisy and mushy key bed. Upgrade to better action (tp40/wood) and I'll pay extra for the improved experience.
Find a way to put the laptop holder closer to the middle. Too awkward looking that far to the right (away from the keyboard) during a performance.
Move faders/knobs to the left, typically control with left hand. Move wheels closer to the keyboard. Move transpose with controller items, get rid of chord button. Like it, but not buying the way it is currently. A perfect controller in my mind would be this mkii (midi features) with a sl88 grand (keybed features)
Completely useless in Reason 12. Wasted a ton of cash on this controller and V Collection/FX Collection and I can't even control any of it or Analog Lab.
Ответитьdog :)
just kidding. Great video, Sanjay!!! you never leave anything out. You and loopop should do a collaboration!!!!
Roland fantom and Yamaha Montage
ОтветитьTHIS THING, after 2 years, STiLL LooKs DeliCious 😋🥰😎
ОтветитьBought one of these. Looks amazing. But QC!? Jesus. 1 key clicking loudly up and down, several more friction than others. Sliders inconsistent feeling. Brand new in 3 boxes, Thomann - what a waste of CO2 having to return that!
ОтветитьThe sliders are not smooth enough to move.
ОтветитьAfter having 4 keys break on my keylab (mk1) i never dare buy an arturia...
ОтветитьFantastic review. You mentioned a comparison to a Yamaha. I used to have a Yamaha YPG-635 which had an amazing feature I have not been able to find elsewhere. It had a "dual" voice/sound feature that not only layers 2 sounds together, but actually fuses/synthesizes them to create an original new sound. In other words, like most keyboards I've played it doesn't just play the 2 sounds together like 2 instruments in an orchestra, it actually creates one new "morphed" and unique instrument sound. Can the Arturia/Analog Lab do something similar?
ОтветитьThis company just wants to suck all the money out of our wallets. I bought the Keylab 88 mk2 midi controller because they boast of the quality of weighted keys and the sound library. well the keyboard bed feels like i'm playing on a bed of cotton no bounce back on keys when trying to articulate something fast. eventually prematurely fatigue hands because I have to forcefully push through. Also the sounds they boast of come with too much reverb and if you want to edit that particular sound to remove the reverb you gotta buy the full sound library that sound belongs to. scam.
ОтветитьCan you review Yamaha CP88 vs Studiologic Muma X GT? They both have wood keys
ОтветитьHi compliment for your tutorial. Please can you help me? I've difficoult for disable voice guide in arturia keylab mkii 88. I don't a way solution. I wsting your replay. Regard. Modesto
Ответитьwhat is the stand brand for macbook?
ОтветитьYes it is. And the software is absolutely mindblowing. So, the keyboard is on only part of the equation.
Ответитьhow does the hammer action effect the synth playing?
ОтветитьBest review of a MIDI controller!!! Was deciding between the 88 and the 61 and you sold me on spending a little more! Fantastic review, sir!
ОтветитьHi Sanjay, as always brilliant review. Does this Arturia Keylab 88 Mk2 take plug-ins and all that say Spitfire Audio and Native Instrument’s have available? I’m mainly a classical / jazz pianist and what to use this for composition whilst also enjoy say playing orchestral instruments and choirs ? Kindly advise please. Jean-Claude from Melbourne, Australia
ОтветитьHi there!!!
Does anybody know of any controller with the characteristics of the Oberheim MC2000? I basically need a keypad for live playing where I can select a specific patch at any one given moment... say I'm playing with patch 15 and the next song is on patch 100, I need the possibility to select 100 on the fly .... Any advice would be awesome. Thanks in advance ;)
Small Word of Caution: as piano-player I found the key-action was way too heavy and spongy. Sold it within a year.
ОтветитьI have an Akai MPK 88 but was considering the Arturia for the V collection integration. Thanks for your video, it is really helpful and brought me to subscribe to your channel.
ОтветитьDoes anyone know how the keyboard compare to an old Yamaha cp300? Had it for almost 14 years and love the keyboard feel but would be ok with triggering samples instead of onboard as long as it has a really good authentic piano feel. Probably unfair comparing due to price differences…
ОтветитьHow does this compare to the mk1?
ОтветитьIs it keyscape friendly?
Ответить
