Amazing video!
As an INTJ who cares so much about understanding others and spent so much time expressing myself (to understand it) and observing others (to learn their behaviors and find patterns). I shall say that the last 2 points (especially the last one ) can easily be wrong for certain INTJ. Other wise the video was on point for the most parts.

I took the test and decided to be rigorously honest in my responses. I am, acc. to the “Please Understand Me” book and test, An INTJ \ ENTJ with ‘I ‘ and ‘E’ ‘ on top’ of one another at one point difference. The ‘thinking’ and ‘ judgement’ are clearly demarcated. The ‘J’ is where my scores changed when I was honest. Any Thoughts?

This stuff sounds like modern day horoscopes - The INTJ craze is popular because lonely people with poor social skills want to excuse their bad behaviour and social cowardice by cosplaying as "deep", intelligent, super-unique edgelords. The MIBT stuff is too wild for me.

I've taken a handful of these tests and come up INTP, INTJ and (once) INFJ. A couple things he brings up really correspond to my "type". I'm not very good at violin, but piano and guitar are completely natural to me. When this guy talks about exhaustion after a small amount of mental energy focused on physical activity and a tendency to retreat into one's own thoughts (which is a fancy way of saying "a short attention span"!) this fits. To play the violin, one has to spend a great deal of mental energy on the tactile aspect - i.e. the instrument itself. Piano and guitar are harmonic instruments. When I play a piano, I am thinking about the chords - what would make an interesting chord change? What if I hold these two notes and change these three? What will the values of those notes be in the new chord? What's the emotional effect? etc... Another thing that fits has to do with gaining knowledge and mastery of this or that. My sister can quickly become an encyclopedia on whatever subject her current job requires. I can't do that. I wouldn't want to try.

People here are just so funny.
After understanding that we understand things better through relating to our sense of being
There are “intjs” here that keep saying
“We intj female, we intj this, we intj that”
Isn’t it obvious all intjs are even different from each other since experience is very relative?😂

Even this video doesn't still work in figuring out your real mbti if you don't have a sound basic knowledge of the cognition.
We tend to believe what we want to believe.

Nice content though...so many things were clear..

The best example of an INTJ that I relate to most and admire is Nikola Tesla. Tesla famously stated , “His [Thomas Edison] method was inefficient in the extreme, for an immense ground had to be covered to get anything at all unless blind chance intervened and, at first, I was almost a sorry witness of his doings, knowing that just a little theory and calculation would have saved him 90 per cent of the labor. But he had a veritable contempt for book learning and mathematical knowledge, trusting himself entirely to his inventor's instinct and practical American sense. In view of this, the truly prodigious amount of his actual accomplishments is little short of a miracle.” Showing his Cognitive Introversion in juxtaposition with Cognitive Extroversion. He also had many theories on electrical energy AC which he worked through thoroughly as is the most abstract of concepts showing his Introverted Intuition. He also worked mostly for free energy which he believed would best help humanity as he was from a Christian household that would prove him to love humanity as a whole personally showing his Convergent Feeling. He mostly fought against Edison with logic and never trying to belittle him as he even admired Edison for his work even though Edison on the other hand tried to push the opinion that Nikola Tesla was a horrible person while also acting in a limbic ethical nature by allowing others to use his patents and destroying contracts that hurt people even when it hurt him showing his Divergent Thinking. He also died old with his pigeons rather than as a famous inventor for all his innovative work away from the spotlight cause he never cared for it. All his theories on energy were well researched as he did make the tesla coils and other electric inventions to prove it. Nikola Tesla never boasted himself or his abilities he just wanted the world a better place and worked towards that, "The present is theirs; the future, for which I really worked, is mine." Nikola also readily criticized the work procedures while in Edison's company, but also admiring him the entire time and trusting Edison for being the CEO of the company itself before realizing that Edison's DC was horridly obsolete showing his Te Authority. Lastly, to sum it all up the quote from Nikola Tesla: “Be alone, that is the secret of invention; be alone, that is when ideas are born.” and his preference of pigeons over people fully shows his Fe Blindspot. Therefore, Nikola Tesla is not just an INTJ but the INTJ as he worked his entire life to help humanity because that is what he had wanted to work for his entire life despite having no spotlight, no credit, no fame, no money, and very few friends save the pigeons who he loved dearly.

Man, I thought that most of the people pull themselves back into the internal world... It turns out that it's singularity?

I've been constantly asking myself (after a long time period concentrating on external world and getting back into myself).

Why do I always feel this necesssity to get back to the most important things like: Why did i do that? How did i feel? What is my true purpose behind and beyond this project? Why should I push myself to acccomplish the task? Is it really matter to me? Does it correspond to my internal values and principles? And million more similar questions... Just, there is no way to shut up my consciousness-mind whatever it is.

Fortunately, recently I have discovered "present technique" by Echart Tolle, since then my life became a lot easy to live... So dear INTJs, I beg you to learn more about "being in present", it'll certainly bring into your life more tranquility and - peace.

I think I'm starting to realise as a divergent ENFJ why I mistyped as an INTJ in the first place. My cognition is more proactive (well to a degree as a divergent subtype). I also find it difficult to pursue something that I don't find meaningful; indeed the ENFJ will as Harry has pointed out forego their happiness & endure a great level of discomfort to achieve their Ni vision...I can become extremely hyperfocused once my TiNi has synthesised a great deal of information to achieve a desired account albeit as a divergent subtype this vision tends to incrementally change as I innovate with my TiNi+. There are a number of other broader caveats as well...both are divergent thinkers & convergent feelers. Irrespective INTJs are a type I deeply admire I've seen a few refer to themselves as lazy thinkers which is by far from the case but I can understand why they would feel this way if NiFi doesn't relate then SeTe isn't going to 'do it's thing' or at least they're going to find extremely difficult to do so. I don't think the stereotypes type help either as actual ENFJs are a pretty serious bunch it's quite easy to confirm to the MBTI stoic INTJ archetype. I'm really glad I got typed by CPT as there was a fair few types I could really relate to & with having such a fluid axis this didn't help either. Let me just add ENFJs can be very combative when their TiNi has synthesised information but like the INTJ we don't tend to have definitive opinions that aren't based on empirical fact...indeed the ENFJ is very driven by logic. I'm actually much more certain about that which isn't true as opposed to that which is true. We both have an empirical bent. Overall two types youd think are highly different due to the acronyms but there are some actually overlaps. I will say is ENFJs are comparatively much slower thinkers as our TiNi takes awhile to synthesise information; it's why I tend to ask Rob from CPT a lot of questions on twitter as a good short cut for consolidating my own perspectives. Also as we're geared more towards internalised understanding the efficiency of the INTJ I think can really help us out. I think we're a great duo either though people wouldn't think it on the face of it. I have a lot of respect for this type.

This is very interesting. A key thing he mentioned here is that as much as I don't tend to notice my surroundings as I am in my head a lot with an internal dialogue, the Se and Te is used to sense the world and how to be effective in it based on my Fi values and then that's where the visionary component of the ideas or Ni solutions come from.

Wow, I am absolutely impressed.... You, sir, have blown me away. The thing that really struck me about your explanation was how well you were able to express the process of gaining knowledge and understanding. Even though I understand what it's like to be an INTJ, I haven't been able to disentangle the various nuances of myself in a way that makes sense to convey to others. That makes it pretty impossible for me to describe. This video was very.... liberating? I'm not sure if that's the right word, but it's the best I have. I can now send this to people rather than trying (and failing) to explain (because EFFICIENCY!)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like a lot of the T types, or at least T types wit lh Ni/So or Se/Ne first are seemingly more... Emotion based, logically observative vs Logic Based, Emotionally Observative (as their opposites) are.

Is this assumption true. I'll continue watching your videos to find out. But, I've noticed in your videos, in me (ENTJ) and a lot of types I'd see on social media that align with this description very well. T's (ETJs, ITJs, ETPs, ITPs) seem to be more relaxed off of constant logical/objective processing as portrayed by media and moreso focused on emotional observation OR constant emotional analysis and control

And the F types seem to be opposite. Less on their emotional observation and control, and moreso focused on Logical/Objective observation or control

I just love to see someone understands my POV of the world. The things about Te efficiency and Fe blindspot is just so accurate. As a INTJ I always try to improve theories or systems rather than coming up with a totally new way. Also the constant self transformation and lack of confidence in our abilities is spot on. people think we are cold and not caring, but actually we care a lot about what others think or whether we make a good impression.

That's the very definition of an Appeal to Authority logical fallacy. I listen to "experts" but I do like to reference multiple sources and identify common themes and any logical inconsistencies between what they say and objective truths.
