Does this still work?

i kept trying to make it work on the headlong mission, I have a crafted fire and forget and a first in last out, both with vorpal, but when I proccd the poison and switched to either weapon and waited in a safe spot while it ticked, it reached the maximum damage and it doesn't restart, did it multiple times and it wont restart the poison damage, maybe bungo stealth fixed it? Could anyone confirm?

This strategy might be extremely useful for low light guardians challenging high level content, like GMs. I saw this in Battleground Mars GM and the player with 1820 wwas doing a ton of damage to Kelgorath from the pillar using this strategy. Glassway and the strike in the Prison of Elders are great places to put this into practice, because you can cheese both boss rooms with this strategy. The Minotaurs will still be a problem unless they are vulnerable to SMGs but the boss Servitor in Prison of Elders can be demolished from the ceiling with this as well as the the boss in Lake of Shadows. Now 3 players doing the same strategy is crazy because that's roughly 12-20k damage per tick depending on the cycle. You can literally shoot the Osteo, swap weapons and go for a coffee until the strike is done.

At this point I don’t thunk it’s a bug. It’s still in the game and it’s still awesome!

I have found that just using Necro grips and a melee warlock build ( strand ) works better than the Osteo Striga for me. Sure, I do not have infinite cheese low DPS while I crouch behind cover, but all in all, I am not super impressed with Osteo Striga as a weapon…

Granted, I did not get it until literally 23 hours ago ; ) haha

Am I dense or is the OS really kind of a mid weapon if not using it to cheese?

Am I just spoiled as a Warlock and OS is the only poison choice for Crayon Eaters and Legolas wannabes? ( kidding my Titan and Hunter friends, I am just feeling the guardian games vibe today )

Does anyone know if this works on bosses with immunity, like spire bosses?

I can send you a recorded video where a 1600 thudnerlord was gving 720 damage per bullet and then the same thunderlord was giving 3200 damage at 1810

I don't see it as a thing to use the run and hide. I see it as Starfire protocol 4.0. never ending tick damage until immunity for grenades

First off, let me just say I'm just now beating the story mode on legendary. You are a pure genius. It took me a very long time in 30 deaths but doing it your way helped me out so much thanks

You know.. you don't have too hide. Like persay it's something like rulk DPS where he moves alot. You apply inf dot use something like the ikelos shotgun and something else with vorpal. Have a well with Starfire. Your getting inf dot ikelos sg and Starfire nade spam 👀 the info dot charges the grenades like witherhoard. I do this all the time.

Way to go geez now bungie will fix the bug, maybe just maybe leave some bugs alone and don’t bring attention to them. Specially if they help the pve community
