Guys forgot their own war criminals, those who bombed German and Japanese cities and who used the atomic weapons.

Nurnberg trial, "justice" brought by British, American, French and Soviets... in other words a judgement declared by a belligerant side on another with the claim to be FAIR.

UK had colonies and drafted men across the world to fight and die for a cause where Germany had nothing to do against such distant and slavery lands.

US, unofficially at war since 1940 by sending ships planes tanks to a belligerent state, speaking of criminality when having apartheid on its soil... led japan to war by commercial blockade.

Soviet Union, well they were attacked yes, but were preparing themselves an attack on west, and had just finished exterminating via purges big fractions of their own population, not counting the Polish army being mass murdered in Katyn (oh nobody declared war on them on september 1939 did they !?).

These were the judges, UK and France who declared war ON Germany (not viceversa) without any threat being posed on them, Americans with their nukes and mass bombings on civilians, and Soviets fresh from Gulags. quite an impartial group yes yes.

They are not objectively war criminals. It is just that the winner always sets the rules regarding what is a war crime and what is not. Had the Axis won the American leadership that ordered the atomic bombings would be tried and hanged for crimes against humanity.

An American military jailor stripping germans off their uniform is the clear violation of the Geneva conventions.
