Hi, Thank you for this tutorial. But I have an issue... After downloading BigSur, I got an error message stating "This Copy of the Install macOS Big Sur application is damaged, and can't be used to install macOS". Please, what can I do?
I use a MBP Mid2014 and currently still running OS X eL Capitan, but I need to upgrade to anything 11 and above.

Excellent video. I struggled for hours and hours trying to find the right file. This video helped me find it. So stupid Apple doesn’t put the “root” version of the OS to install easily accessible in the App Store. Now, thanks to this video I’m well on my way of upgrading my macOS!

I mean right in the upper left corner of the screen on the laptop there's a little Apple icon that'll tell you should tell you if you could update or not cuz literally I had a 2007 maybe I don't know but that's how I know because I had a Mac book

Thank you so much!!! Itoday I updated my MacBook Air early 2014 from Sierra to Big Sur. I have been wanting to do so for ages but was worried about messing it up. Your tutorial was super easy to follow, the update and installation took quite a while but I didn't encounter any issues 😊 I can now use all the apps that had stopped working. I'm glad ti have my Mac back. I have a new iPad Pro but I still keep coming back to my MacBook Air. THANK YOU SO MUCH 🙏😊
