For the longest time I was a 'AirPod Pro's can't be worth the price' camp. Well, boy was I wrong. Just everything about them has blown me away. My ONLY issue with them is Apple's UI when interacting with the device or even in the iOS software. Feel like have to explore the depths of System Settings is somewhat cumbersome - but once you set it all up in the slide-down menu it's nice.

I have the Sony WF-1000xM4's and the Airpod Pro 2's, I personally prefer Sony's sound, but Apple's utility just make it that much better.
I think if you have an Apple device then definitely get airpods. If not, then go for Sony's.
I wouldn't go for the nothing ones, I had a pair, they broke. The hinge for the top snapped off like nothing, and it feels ok to the hand at best. The noise cancellation for me doesn't even step close to Sony or the Airpods.
Overall, go for the Sony's, Sennheiser's, or Airpods Pro 2.

(Samsung galaxy buds are dogshit, i had the galaxy buds 2 and they are TERRIBLE.)

I've never been impressed with Sony sound quality. They're really bassy and loose with middling mids and treble. If you want sound quality, don't look past Sennheiser Momentum. I had the Momentum True wireless earbuds and then the True Wireless Earbuds 2 and now the Momentum 4 headphones and man, they sound amazing. Depends on the quality of the tracks you're listening to but if you have good quality tracks (not just the bit rate but how well it was recorded i.e. the studio) then they sound phenomenal. Mind blowing sound. So tight and punchy with crispy highs and beautifully balanced mids that don't get lost in the mix. Also my ears are quite sensitive to sibilance and Sennheiser purposefully tunes sibilance out of their earbuds/headphones by turning down the frequency response in the 5000-7000Hz range so you can turn them up loud and they dont hurt unlike a lot of other brands of headphones/earbuds. Honestly, if you want sound quality, go with the people who pride themselves on sound quality. Maybe not the best overall headphones/earbuds but certainly the best sounding.

The only reason I am thinking about buying the Airpods Pro 2 is that I want to use them inside my motorcycle helmet to cancel out noise and so I can listen to some background music quietly while I ride. They are small and sleek enough that they should fit under my helmet unlike a lot of other earbuds that are bulky and stick out of your ears. I have Aipods 2 and they work in my helmet no worries, but they dont have noise cancellation so only useful for short trips (5-10 mins). Just not sure if it's worth $249 for Airpods Pro 2. If they were $200 or less then I would have bought them already.

I think if you are in the Apple ecosystem you can use them with multiple devices despite what the competition offers.

If I wanted the best audio, it wouldn’t be an earbud...💀..category changes what I want from a device.

Need to elaborate more on specific things like noise cancellation, like saying it’s good because it can block out noise from an ambulance right next to me or something, not just saying that “these are brilliant active noise canceling…” like it’s not that hard. Im actually trying to find out whether or not it’s what im looking for and, just like you, people are saying it’s good and don’t specify that details of what it can or cannot do with blocking noise, aka noice cancellation.

just bought these, a few thoughts, comments welcome 1 sound quality increase is meh, not impressed 2 spatial audio - cant even get working 3 the L and R print on each headphone is ridiculously tiny and the pods are also laughably slippery and too small to grab with fingers to remove from case. You spend over $277 bucks and cant even get them out of the case? Overrated imho. Looking at alternatives

I have about £140 to spend on some earbuds,was thinking of getting AirPods gen 2 as they fit really well. My last ones was the Jabra 65t which I couldn’t get to fit properly. Can anyone recommend any better earbuds for that price £140, your recommendations will be much appreciated

I giggle because my bragging dash pros had transparency mode way before the first EarPods and had 2Gig memory in case I didn’t have or want my phone. They were also completely waterproof and used them to swim laps with. I’m an apple guy and the EarPods are the only apple product I’m not totally convinced with.

I was scared I wasn’t gonna like them but I heard a lot hype abt them so I bought them obviously doing a lot of research and I’m glad I bought them. Been 4 days sense I’ve last bought them and the noice cancellation and transparency mode is something I’ve never expected or been through with the past earbuds I’ve owned.

No dilemmas here. The pro 2’s are sick. Love how ANC just flows in it’s not instant it a smooth start. Not once was call quality mentioned and I will say the AirPods Pro 2 are batting 1000 here as well so they are a better all around bud for me.

Currently got a pair of MIFO earbuds, no active noise cancelling but they do fine for me on jogs. They also naturally block out a lot of noise.

I work in a pretty loud place n the Bose 1 does a decent job so I went for the bose 2 for better anc and I didn’t like it at all the anc was better but sounds would slip in when I’m moving fast so I got the air pods 2 n hopefully it’ll work better

I think I’ll stick with my €16 headphones that sound awful in Bluetooth and wired modes and get uncomfortable after 5 minute of use and have built up a lot of dirt after 3 years
