Oh I see, you installed the shroud on the wrong direction on the Dril Master, that's why the switch moved from the Top to the Side lmao.
ОтветитьI have the older version of that Milwaukee. It looks like a quality tool but the air coming through the ventilation openings is so hot you can't tolerate it on your fingers. I also have a Makita and Bosh. They are all make in China but the Makita is definetly constructed out of the best Chinesium.
ОтветитьVibration would be my top metric if it was for running it all day. All other things matter very little if you're destroying your hands if you run it more than just and hour or two a day.
I'm not sure how accurate the measured values for vibrations are. I've noticed that corded angle grinders numbs my hands a lot less than the battery ones even if it sees they have the same vibrations on the box. I think it has to do with the corded ones running at higher RPM so any vibration is of a higher frequency. It could also be that vibrations under load is different from the measured vibrations of just holding it, I get the feeling that a faster spinning disk runs smoother than one that is bogging down.
This Milfuckee is a friggin ripoff.
ОтветитьHave you tested the WEN cordless?
ОтветитьWalter makes grinders in Europe. I try to avoid supporting slavery. I'd like to see vibration comparisons and innards comparisons as well.
ОтветитьCooool....had no idea...i just ordered a wen...😮
ОтветитьThose blue Drill Master grinders were great. We had them in high school shop class and they were un-killable.
ОтветитьXD, finding that spindle still rattling around inside that drill master was priceless.
ОтветитьMy 2019 Drill Master has gone miles. Yeah agree, I know what I got lol
ОтветитьMan, would love to see you guys do a bench grinder comparison.
ОтветитьWen for the win
ОтветитьHere's an idea for a long term torque test stand for corded drills.
Get them to spin an alternator and set it up to a 12v car battery as a buffer and power either some headlights from the battery or get an inverter and power other stuff from the 12v generated by the angle grinders. Also you can put some stuff on a timer so you can have different loads and run it for 100 hours or so.
Wow that’s pathetic. Would love to see one of the cheaper Dewalt corded thrown in there so I can possibly feel better about my purchase.
ОтветитьI've had a few Chicago Electric & other El cheapo grinders. They all let their smoke out & got tossed.
My 30y old DeWalt is still going.
I got a harbor freight angle grinder as a gift about 2 years ago, worth $15 maybe. It's never failed me through lots of projects. It shakes a lot, has a stiff on/off button but gets the job done in layman terms.
Ответить1-5 wood rate it 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
ОтветитьI own the Milwaukee and love it I got it for $79
