When did you pre order your manticore?

The round glass item with a copper back is a bridle rosette. Nice find. Never heard of using silver acid to restore dates, I will give it a try.

Looks like the Manticore is somewhat of a beast for finding silver- got 4 Minelab's already but you may be swaying me towards #5! Congrats for all the great finds! I've done the date restore on Buffalo nickels but never silver- I totally understand the damage, but you now know you have a key date 1919-D, worth it to me!
