To clarify: videogames are a very diverse medium, you need 3D artist, 2D artist, animators, sound designers, musicians, writers, voice actors. See how none of those imply anything about the person doing it? What they don't need is color, sex or orientation quotas. Jaffe is the perfect argument of why people should not take anything that someone involved in an industry has to say as an authoritative source, he is of course knowledgeable of being a game directer on his time but that's about it, there is not reason to think that he knows what he is talking about , also he has a bias both personal (knowing people in the industry) and professional (since he he more likely a participant of say bias) that does not mean that everything he says is by default wrong but everything that he says should be scrutinized as much as everyone else.

2 minutes of mid fight, 5 minutes of puzzle box pushing and wall climbing and rope swinging to hit a switch to unlock a door, then 10 minutes of unskippable boring cutscene. over and over. even gows biggest fans stopped respecting and. caring about the series, i was never a huge fan but i played em all since they were new on ps2, but i couldnt care less about ragnakuk to finish it for free. glad i didnt actually pay it to not want to play it

Don't know about Synthetic Man, as I've only seen a couple of his videos, but as an avid Quartering watcher, I know for a fact he has nothing against true diversity in movies or games, just forced propaganda.🤷

My biggest problem with Diversity is that if it uses historic lore and you add a person of color just for the sake of Diversity it sticks out like a sore thumb. If they want Diversity then use the exact culture of that time in history or the culture that made those stories. I am 100% fine if they made a game about African stories that use Africans as their character. That just makes sense and I would have an issue if a white person is just their for Diversity. You make some good points in the video. However, I disagree with your statement about Saga Anderson. The version of Saga Anderson in Quantum Break was only shown as an Easter Egg. The easter egg video "Return" was just a bunch of early ideas and concepts for a supposedly AW2. Remedy didn't start working on the sequel until Q3 2019. I don't think she was changed for ESG points because, near the end of AW2 (spoilers btw), it was heavily implied that she is Mr. Door's daughter. If she was an already established character in previous Remedy games then I agree with your statement. Other than that, great video.
