I guess the ps5 takes longer to boot up cause its better... but at the end of the day as long as you can play with friends that's all that matters🤓

Just got a XBSX and I’m really disappointed at the digital game download speed..I’m originally a XBox guy but grabbed a PS5 2yrs ago..just got my kids the XBSX and it seems to be just as slow as far as digital Download time as the XB1X

Your xbox have alot of games in quick reseme so it look slow

My games sometimes just start and I jump right in cyberpunk only takes me about 1 min to start being able to actually play and move

This difference between PS5 and Xbox Series X can be explained very simple...the installation disc and load times faster on PS5 because the SSD of PS5 have a speed over 5 Gigabytes per second vs the Xbox Series SSD that have 2,8 Gigabytes per second. that bring an advantage to the PS5. now the Xbox Series X share the RAM like a computer. so it can organize the amount of RAM and processing to each operation. that make the Xbox OS execute many jobs at once and faster. different from the PS5 that concentrate more amont of his RAM and Processing in one job (in the case the game) in resume...the PS5 concentrate more his power to the game itself. while the Xbox concentrate his power in multiple processing. more similar to the computers. the same characteristic can be noticed in the PS4 and Xbox one. that uses their powers the same way. the veredict? simple...one is not better or powerful than other. just both uses his power in different ways. that can bring advantages in some things and disadvantages in others. everything depends of each feature

For me that spoiled me this generation is the loadtime. Demon's Souls Remake, RE Village, FF16, Ghost of Tsushima, Miles Morales, also Hogwart Legacy.

Interestingly, ps5 is significantly faster in scenarios related to games, while xbox is faster when it's about the system interface performance.

Both are amazing consoles. But I love how ps skips the studios screen

ps5 is somewhat faster than Xbox I have the digital ps5 and it flies although Xbox also has its strengths, each console has them and both are very good

My Ps5 goes into Rest mode almost instantly . 3 seconds tops.

I only want the PS5 because of the games, its fast downloading/starting the discs version of games.💪🏽

Tengo PS4 y PS5.
Como todos sabemos, gta 5 se demora una eternidad en PS4 para iniciar el modo historia.
Comparé la velocidad de carga de ambas consolas con gta 5 y la verdad que playstation 5 destroza a playstation 4. Jaja.

En PS4 tarda 1 minuto y 45 segundos para cargar el modo historia, en PS5 muestra las letras del principio y directamente empezas a jugar. No hay pantalla de carga.
En 1 segundo estas jugando.
Es impresionante la velocidad.
Se que gta 5 no es un juego tan pesado ni exigente, pero en PS4 tarda lo que mencioné arriba y en PS5 ni siquiera hay pantalla de carga.

También probé Horizon Forbidden West para PS4 en playstation 4 y tarda 1 minuto 30 segundos para cargar el juego.
Jugué Horizon Forbidden West para PS5 en playstation 5 y tarda 9 segundos la carga.

Es impresionante. La verdad quedé sorprendido con la velocidad.
También tuve Xbox Series X y noto que PS5 carga mucho más rápido los juegos que Series X.

wish ps5 had an option to disable to stupid splash screens, but a note on the first test, Xbox default settings has something similar to ps5 rest mode enabled all the time, so you should unplug the power cable first then do the test or disable that setting, or use rest mode from ps5

Makes sense. The PS5 has a faster hard drive, but Microsoft has a huge advantage as far as OS know-how: so at things like booting and resuming, which rely on the OS, the Xbox is faster; at things that rely on the drive's raw transfer speed, like installing and loading a game, the PS5 is faster.
