Being a DV survivor im happy she was found Not Guilty. Time for her to heal now and reunite with her children and have a better life. 💜

I believe the jury got it right!! What a great feeling it must be for Marcia. I hope she heals and finds peace and fulfillment the remainder of her life !

I disagree with Julie's statement that there was nothing wrong with this prosecution. The prosecutor should have dropped this case once it became obvious that it was justified self-defense. This wasn't even close. There was TONS of evidence showing that Marcia acted in self-defense, and to top it off, the investigation was poorly handled. Charging someone with murder is a big deal. Marcia was probably retraumatized by having to relive all of this (not to mention the financial burden of the trial and the emotional stress of it all). I'm so, so glad she was found not guilty, but we have to start holding prosecutors to a higher bar and calling them out for prosecuting victims like Marcia. This trial was a waste of taxpayer money and a way to punish Marcia, who has already suffered more than enough at the hands of Terry. Thank goodness the jury made the right call and set this innocent woman free.

Julie, In my opinion your opening statement was outstanding. If only trauma victims could get the help they need, the world would look much different.

Her attorney did a fantastic job. This was clearly a team effort between her and Marcia which is necessary in a complex domestic violence case. It's really nice to see that style win a case like this and to have a woman like Marcia be found not guilty.

As a co worker I’m elated that she was found not guilty. He terrorized her for more than 18 years and got no help .
